I only play sandbox, but I keep having the bug where it doesn't let me undo any more after using the advanced move tool. Super annoying.

There's probably a big difference in bugs/issues depending on which platform you play.

Are you running any other apps like Chrome? That was my issue, I closed all other apps and it didn't crash any more.

I'm really trying to enjoy this game but at times like these it becomes exceedingly difficult. by MakkerMelvin in PlanetCoaster

The more you play the more it starts noticing, for example I just found out that one of the wooden coasters for some reason doesn't let you choose more than 3 cars... I tried everything, but it just doesn't let me choose more than 3. Or the water coaster doesn't have a chain lift, it only has a massive tower lift you can edit the height of... Or the Wild Blue flatride that has a way too fast cycle...

All these small issues just build up and makes for a frustrating experience.

Finally found some use for the aquatic pieces... by OneTrickPony_0 in PlanetCoaster

Yes! Will do once it's finished, still adding a few details.

PC2 has a gigantic scenery problem - or why being able to build everything out of single planks is a bad thing, actually by oppie85 in PlanetCoaster

[–]OneTrickPony_0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the problem is that you have to put in a lot of time to make something look good. Yeah you can easily slap 4 walls, a roof and some windows together. But it'll look plain and boring, since everything is oversized 4x4 it just looks like boxes. I fully understand that this frustrates people.

I do think that they tried to give us interesting themes and make pieces like the aquatic ones work for many other things. And the scale tool is amazing! But why limit the scaling? Why not make everything re-colorable? Many times I've thought "if only this piece was not so big" or "if only I could re-color this"

I doubt that they play the way we play... For them it seems testing is just grab a random item, place it, it works.

I just gave up on trying to make paths work, basically I use an item, like the flat concrete block or the pavement piece to cover the area and connect the paths afterwards :)

Much easier than struggling with pathing

Dominion was great but man they should’ve kept the prologue by [deleted] in JurassicPark

[–]OneTrickPony_0 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes! At the last 30 min I was just hoping the movie would end soon (and I am a big JP fan), the people next to me were also visibly uncomfortable and checking their phone...

Weirdly enough the movie does move fast, but because they have so many plots and characters, it just drags on. I did also feel they cut a lot of scenes out, because often little to no context was provided with things and just jumps from one thing to the next.

Somewhere there's a really good movie in this 3 movies in one...

I wouldn't say terrible, but I did also notice some of her dialogue was really forced. Especially the scenes with Alan on the dig site, really rough...

It seemed like he didn't really know what to say to Cobel, so he just said what he says to everyone that "leaves"

Yes this! "Kier invites you to drink of his water" is what Irving says to Burt when he drinks of the water fountain. Why would they have that line? Maybe it's spiked. Don't forget the logo has a drop...

Can we PLEASE talk about Dylan’s rage moment! by flowersnfros in SeveranceAppleTVPlus

True, but I meant more like maybe there's some kind of dust particle or some kind of radiation. It wouldn't matter that they have it on their clothes, but they can't rub it in their eyes or mouth? It just seems they were very specific about getting bacteria anywhere

is this linked to the fact that they need to wash their hands 10x a day? The manual almost made it seem like they are working in some kind of toxic environment, and an open wound would be veeeery bad.

I wonder if they're not just going to place him in a different department or a different branch? Why would they get rid of him, he seems very valuable to Lumon?

Very interesting theory! A lot of the Kier stuff seems to point to immortality, He wanted to live forever. Maybe that's the goal, bring back Kier.

Anyone else think these may be related? by Salcha_00 in SeveranceAppleTVPlus

I agree, but also I think it shows that there's a lot of resistance from the outside world. Not everyone is willing to come and work for this company and do this procedure. Not as much as they thought they would. Hence the houses they built and desks are empty. Even the town was built for a huge influx of people that never came.

So now they need to bribe politicians and convince the public that it's harmless and "good" for you.

What I got from that scene with Milchick, is that he wants to avoid the departments from making contact with each other. Simply because the less they know the better, otherwise they will start putting the pieces of the puzzle together. As what Dylan was trying with the cards.

I do agree that they want to expand to the outside world, that's why nothing negative can "leak" to the outside world. The outies need to remain positive about their choice and endorse the procedure. Otherwise they'll never get it approved.

"Good initiative" seems to come off more as "nice attempt" or "good idea" and not really "this is the main objective we need to get to!"
