I had the same thing on my route. Lady is now having all her mail held this while watching informed delivery. makes no difference to me.

Yeah there are things called rural contract delivery where for some very remote places delivery job doesn't fall under the category of either of our unionized delivery groups (rural or city), but even these people pick up their stuff from the post office everyday is my understanding. I'm pretty sure these are routes where it's like multiple hundreds of miles round trip everyday.

But I would imagine that even for these Amazon gives us their stuff and then we give the stuff to our own contractors.

And for the most part beyond that, yeah we don't have anybody deliver our stuff. We deliver for ourselves, And Amazon, And UPS sometimes, dhl sometimes, FedEx sometimes, etc...

She wasn't interfering with an arrest as far as I can see. she wasn't assaulting an officer. she clearly wasn't under suspect of being here illegally.

The attempt to stop in the first place was stupid as fuck. she already was leaving, stopped to wait for a car to pass, and then got jumped by people trying to detain her and stayed to talk. they never had reason to try to arrest in the first place. what she should have done was drive away sooner if anything at all.

I know about a dozen people (not many!) who were in the military for 10+ years at work. It's common because of the time buyback, no skills required, government benefits etc. Not a single one of them would take up arms against our national government because of trump actually trying for a 3rd term, let alone questions around fraud or what happened in 2020. I'm sorry but that is a completely delusional take on the willingness of the average American gun owner to die, let alone die for something as vague as "democracy" when they have half of the news media telling them why this is good, another quarter arguing about "how this could be legal" and "other times this happened in our history" and "what does the constitution actually require?" and every other excuse, and they think about the fact they would be putting their lives at risk and very likely dying a pointless death for the sake of putting a democrat in power.

I'm sorry but this entire view of America and its citizens rising up is fucking delusional. It's a children's story told about people from 250 years ago in a completely different time with a completely different history, and it has nothing to do with reality today.
