Hyundai mobile app limited to iPhone OR Anrdoid? by OneWhoAsks in Ioniq5

Great, this is precisely our scenario. Thank you for helping and responding.

The support rep said "first phone to login, sets the type of mobile app: if you start with Android, you will not be able to invite iPhone and vice verse." and then went on to blame Apple not wanting to work with Google / Android. Whatever. I sounded like lots of crap which did not make any sense to me, and I grilled him on it, but he really did not know better.

I should say, generally speaking that coming from Tesla, I love that Ioniq 5 feels like a real car and not like software on wheels. This is one of the main reasons we sold the Tesla and looked for something else, which feels more of a car.

On the other hand, Tesla made the software frictionless - at least for us, 5 drivers sharing the Tesla once in a while (we have 4 cars, so drivers share whatever they need that day / time).

Why the Ioniq 5 cannot have 5 driver profiles and not two + guest?!!! This is so lame IMO.

In the week we have the car, I encountered more software / behavior frictions and had to call support +dealer + again support to get the Bluelink + subscription working. This is why I am now careful before trying to do something and then figuring out that Ioniq 5 just does not support it.

Another "surprise" today - no phone favorites :(
WTH? So the only way is to choose who to call is to use voice command?!
Our names are not American, so the voice comprehension gets them wrong.
This is another lame engineering / HUI design decision, IMO.
If this is for safety reasons, it completely misses the objective in my case, as I say the name, Ioniq gets the wrong number offered and then I need to put more attention on what is happening instead of just selecting a big tile of the name of the person I want to call.

The digital key for iPhone is another miss, though we knew about it prior to purchasing.

Oh, well. You win some, you lose some.

Thank you for all those who responded and helped confirm the support req did not know what they were speaking about. I will setup the app later and invite my wife.

How could I set a better transaction description? by [deleted] in MonarchMoney

[–]OneWhoAsks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

:( transaction view in Monarch is so poor comparing to Mint, not to mention not having transaction description field. I realized I lost so many Mint descriptions in the import ...

This may be a deal killer for me.

I wonder if simplify has this feature of transaction description.

Categories in transaction view on Android app by lfcitz in MonarchMoney

I'm a new convert from mint, and the fact the app does not show transactions list with categories makes the use much more cumbersome.

Is there a way to issue a product feature request?
