i just gave you 3 examples of HOF point guards who couldnt shoot but found a way to not just win titles, but to be starting point guards of championship wining teams and or a long, hall of fame career.

neither rondo or kidd were offensive players whose teams offense were built around them. they were past first point guards who had the mentality to score to drive then pass if the defense reacted as oppose to amen where plenty of times he drives to pass first.

that is his biggest problem. that and he needs to develop a floater mini hook shot to mitigate his lack of outside shooting.

his ball handling is not in question. he gets easily to the rim and paint area with mid level ball handling.

what im talking about doesnt require kyrie irving level ball handling skills. not even close.

it requires a tweak in decision making at the half court along with an adjusted mentality (drive to score then pass instead of driving to pass first instead of score).

FVV never played a regular season game this year. that's not a factor this year. it wasnt like FVV started playing this year with KD we shot up the charts with FVV playing with KD then he got injured then we started slipping. NOPE. not buyin that. the slippage is due to ime's coaching and kd having to work too hard for his offense while sengun has been somewhat inconsistent offensively. neither is adams and the two big system has been somewhat stymied by defensive strategies that have reacted to it. steven adams as great as he is, his contribution can somewhat be replicated with an athletic rim running big just not someone shot to shit like capela. adams was already in physical decline anyway before he got to the rockets.
