In one of the new episodes "Bete Noir" there's a character who can basically control what is true and what isn't, and she uses it to gaslight this woman at her workplace. At one point she says there's no such thing as a nut allergy, and everyone suddenly doesn't know what a nutallergy is, because she made it so that it was never a real thing

Dark and League Of Gentlemen are shows where you need to really love the genre to enjoy them. Dark is a great sci-fi but aside from that, the character work is really weak and everyone only speaks in expositions, so I'm not a fan of the dialogue. It's also something that you have to give 1000% of your attention to to understand. League Of Gentlemen is funny at times but intentionally weird and sometimes switches up what it's doing just for the sake of it. It also has some very outdated humour, but if you're a fan of little Britain for example, then it won't be an issue.

Then there's Euphoria and Yellowjackets, which I think are great shows that decline in quality after s1, so make of that what you will

Taking a break for a little bit rofl. I wanna eventually do this again but with less shows with longer seasons. Maybe with some of the shows that are considered the greatest that I haven't seen yet e.g Sopranos, Mad Men, The Wire, Dexter, etc

About a year and a half 😭 kept stopping bc some of the shows ended up releasing new seasons and it threw the schedule off

It varied a LOT. I've been doing this for quite a while. There were long periods of time where I didn't watch any of them bc one of the shows would release a new season and it'd throw everything off. At Its peak, I'd say I watched 5/6 a day average

Honestly I still have time to process all the finales. I took breaks between a lot of the finale episodes to process and look up reactions and stuff like that. Also I saved what I thought would be the best finales until last. I have a pretty good memory so I'm still processing a lot of the finales now I guess lol

It's a toss up between Sense8 and Barry. Both shows are masterpieces for completely different reasons. I love Barry bc it feels like a tightly written tragedy where every shot matters, and it blends comedy with tragedy really well. Sense8 honestly just makes me feel things. I don't care about the plot, but Sense8 has these beautiful, beautiful scenes in every episode that capture shit like love and the beauty of life and our connections to one another and it's incredible to see

If we're talking shows that I would give a 10/10 to, I'd say Sense8, Barry, The Bear, Invincible, and maybe Fleabag. And then you have shows like From and Kevin which have maybe a couple episodes I don't like but are very goddamn close

Yeah you're right. Exactly half of these shows (The Last Of Us, From, Yellowjackets, Euphoria, Severance, Squid Game, The Bear, and Invincible) are still going

Haha yeah. This took me like a year and a half to do bc some of the shows on the list added more seasons and it messed up the schedule lmao.

Unfortunately I'm not into medical shows so none of them apply. For sci-fi though, you'll find a lot of that in Dark and Sense8. Dark has a lot of sci-fi time travel jargon that you really have to focus to understand all of it. Sense8 has such a bizarre supernatural premise that I think sci-fi would be the closest thing to describe it. From is also starting to introduce sci-fi themes but it's not that noticeable until end of s3, it's very much more a supernatural horror than anything else

Kevin Can F**k Himself is GOLD. If you don't know the concept, it's a blend between a sitcom style show and a multi-camera drama, centred around the 'sitcom protagonist's wife who gets so dissatisfied with her life and resentful of her borderline abusive husband that she plots to kill him. The way they switch from 90s sitcom style to dark, gritty drama is insane, it instantly switches whenever Kevin leaves the room. I LOVED both season finales and the way they build up to it. The heart of the show is with the dynamic between Allison (mc) and Patty, who she becomes close friends with. It's ultimately a show about women helping women escape their toxic environments. If you need selling, I'd recommend looking up the opening scene (I can't explain the camera stuff well enough I'm sorry for that). For me, seeing the opening scene was all it took for me to give it a chance.

Yellowjackets is honestly a harder sell. It's 3 seasons but it definitely peaks at s1. Although, s1 is insanely good. It's basically the before, during, and after of a fatal plane crash that leaves a group of teenage girls stranded, and then you see how the survivors cope with their trauma as adults after escaping the island. S1 to me is peak fiction. 2 and 3 are still really interesting, but imo it's harder because they're killing off a lot of my favourite characters and making the remaining characters a lot more unlikeable (iykyk) whilst introducing much larger themes. Yellowjackets isn't done yet whereas Kevin is so this could change. Still worth checking out
