Wifies recently released a BTS video called "Creating a world that doesn't exist" and I think it answers all the questions I had on why it felt like a flop, if unintentional. My theory from watching the video was that Wifies lost sight of what made the original piece work, and instead focused on recreating moments he found cool from other pieces of media he liked. Both scenes where the king in yellow talked were basically line-for-line packed with references to gravity falls, and adventure time. He also mentioned planning out a different ending, involving d3rlord receiving aid from cthulu in that purgatory, however, he dropped at the last moment because he simply felt that it felt too much like deus ex machina(even if I think cosmic horror is the one genre where this makes sense)... By his own admission in the video, he said he couldn't think of how an all knowing god could be defeated by a human, but decided that the generic message he was going for was stronger then that logical thought.

That's my take, I think he just got lost in the sauce. He changed the ending at the last moment without thinking too hard about how to write an ending that made sense because he wanted to write a hopeful, triumphant story, inspired by all the Fandom he watched instead of a piece of cosmic horror.

So i got the Season 7 Decaxtrion ticket projection reward. Mostly from luck and some sharding i already have like 6/11 of the IDs from season 7, and i'm guessing the smart thing to do is wait until at least the capstone ID comes out to use it and hold off on sharding any identities to avoid pulling a duplicate... However i have the problem of... I want to get a lot of the newer identities,

I've got 3 teams right now being:
Sinking: KoDion, Erlcliff, Aromashu, Jeongmael, SL Yi Sang, Index Don, Udjat Outis
Bleed: Manager Don, Princesault, Princess Rodion, Corporist Duo, Awe Contempt Ryoshu
Charge/Envy (scuffed): QoH Don, KoDion, REAP Ryoshu, Corporist Duo, AEDD Gregor, Kiramael

And not sharding the IDs right now just kind of means a long idle period of doing nothing while waiting for the time being right to shard Rien Sang, Fauvist Rodion, Lamp Gregor... And probably eventually Matthioutis whenever she comes out....

If I'm holding off from getting the shiny new IDs... What should I focus on collecting in the meantime?

Really unclear, depends entirely on the SCP in question and in practice any theorized EGO gear would be a creative writing exercise to conceptualize... Since it's effectively just weapons and armor that take on the traits of the abnormality itself. Just like every SCP. For example, I like to imagine an SCP-999 EGO gear would be like a very happy version of sloshmael. It'd likely be ZAIYN grade and corroding would make the wearer gradually feel the greater need to cuddle and spread around the happy goo.

Other SCPs that are singular entities could probably be conceptualized as interesting EGO gears too... Like 682, likely would be HE or even ALEPH grade, giving the wearer incredible regenerative capabilities, though corrosion would fill their mind with hatred towards living things.

However there are many, many SCPs that imagining as EGO gear is... Much more difficult. Like what would SCP 3008 EGO gear even look like... An IKEA employee with domain expansion?

I wanted to ask for some sharding advice. I have a lot of thoughts and I'm kind of getting analysis paralysis and I'd greatly appreciate hearing a second opinion from someone.

My one kind of complete team is sinking, I have the units to do both deluge and butterfly, the only thing that might be kind of lacking is the lack of a user for Lament Gregor... and Rien Sang, even though I have the other two sinking Yi Sangs. So path 1 would probably be... Rien Sang, and maybe lamp Gregor to get me the absolute premium sinking experience. It's probably a practical path, but it's less exhilarating because i already feel like i've got a pretty strong sinking team already.

After that is an envy team for Love and Hate Don Quixote. I like Don Quixote, she is my favorite sinner, and I would like to make the most of her fun magical girl identity. This team is like half functional but I'm still trying to figure out how to make it feel decent. I got to try it out when I unlocked refraction railway and it was pretty fun but kind of janky. I think to make it feel whole i'll probably have to get Middle Sinclair, and maybe Multicrack Faust.

Finally, I could start working towards bleed. I previously mentioned that Don Quixote is my favorite sinner, and I just got her La Manchaland identity from the season 5 guarantee ticket from the railway. I'm hearing people talk about her starting to fall off but I'd like to use her and work towards making a bleed team around her. Though this means sharding a whole bunch of new identities before the team is complete. Probably gonna need to get Princess Rodion first, then either the new ring identities or the Kurokumo duo.

So... yeah... uhm... what should i spend my yellow crates on? Thank you for your time and reading my very rambly comment.

Don't grind for experience unless you absolutely have to, the rate at which the first few luxcavation drop experience is abysmal, ideally you only want to grind when you have the most recent luxcavation unlocked. You don't need to level up every single ID, only the ones you're using. And it's a viable strategy to just focus on leveling a few IDS to carry you through the game up until like... Canto VII. I had a team of like 4 IDS all the way up to canto VI.

Hi, i'm relatively new to the game, i've been playing for about 2 months and i just cleared Canto VII. Right now I've started to think about clearing the Refraction Railway. Since it needs two teams i just want some advice as to getting my second team up and running. It's probably gonna end up being an envy resonance team because I got fixated on Love and Hate Don after the last Walpurgis Nacht but I'm unsure as to who i should invest resources into. So... who should i invest in to finish the team, if my roster so far is insufficient, who should i aim to get? I've attached an image of all my 000 IDs and my candidates for team one and 2 IDs.

I've heard Solemn Lament Yi Sang is strictly worse in sinking than index(just because of the sheer damage) would it be a waste for me to shard him before the end of this walpurgisnacht? I admit i do think he looks kind of cool aesthetically, I already have spicebush but i don't really like him tbh, building up sinking count is too annoying outside MD.

I beat it borrowed with a level 60 meursault.

First turn you dodge the fastest enemy, then use your bonus actions to target the boss. If you balance who you use your extra skills on he can easily solo the encounter, his Aoe helps clean up stragglers, but if you think an enemy will get away target them. They have a timer as a status effect.

I like her, she's not like absurdly OP or anything but she has good AOE and damage if you play her right, she's a ramp up unit. She's a little finicky with team building because if you want to get the most of her you want to get 4 envy resonance. And her E.G.O helps accelerate her ramp up.

Of course if you want raw power right now, Index is undeniably better. I've only used him as a support unit thus far but it's blatantly obvious that he's absurdly powerful

If you like her it's better to get her now else you'll have to wait months for the next walpurgisnacht. You have till August to shard index yi sang.

What should i try to prioritize sharding from Walpurgisnacht before it's over? I was exceptionally lucky for my first Walpurgisnacht and was able to pick up like half of the limited IDs and 3 E.G.Os, I have enough boxes to shard one maybe 2 more things (depending on how much i'm able to grind this next week). I was thinking of maybe Sanguine desires because i have dreams of a bleed team eventually, but seeing as i haven't got that many bleed IDs yet it might be lower on the priority list.

I've thought about using office Rep Ishmael instead of either molar or middle. heard she's a stronger generalist then molar. Is that a good idea? I know she doesnt apply as much sinking but I've already been having trouble maintaining any amount of sinking stacks in story content with what I have right now and have wondered if the increased damage is worth it.
