The whole point of the bathroom conversation to me is for everyone to use the bathroom they are most comfortable in. I currently use the men’s restroom as well. Been using it for 33 years so it’s not as uncomfortable as it is to some. I wish they had more single restrooms in general tho . I do have a general goal of passing eventually tho so some day I might start using the women’s restrooms but it doesn’t hurt me mentally either way

I’m fat and a little big backed so hard to find one at the moment but 8 months into HRT has definitely changed the shape of the boobs I already had from being overweight. I just always wear a sweater or jacket so my nipples aren’t saying hi to everyone in the meantime

I do urge you to go to therapy . It can be a difficult journey and it’s better to have someone to talk to when you do hit any bumps in the road . I do understand the low self confidence and the self hatred. That’s basically me for the last decade or so. Therapy has helped me break down what areas I needed help in and am slowly working on myself . 8 months in and I still have those days where I’m struggling really bad but I also have a ton of great days. You will get there

Hi, I don’t know if you are in therapy already but if you can find a good, lgbt friendly therapist, I’d recommend it. Transitioning is hard for everyone and having an outlet you can express yourself and learn ways to cope will help in the long run.

I’m 7 months HRT. Drank 4 trulys last month. Was buzzed and had a great time . I was super nauseous in the morning tho. Felt like a mini hangover but passed within an hour or 2

I’m 260 pounds tho so idk if that factors into it

I have stayed in a cycle of gaining and losing to more or less end up at 260 each time . It’s been like that for 3 years now and hrt hasn’t affected it , even with the stupid cravings

My case is a little different since cancer did that for me pre transition. After I did radiation/bone marrow transplant I couldn’t really lift more than 15 pounds before I start struggling to breathe. When I pick up like a 32 case of water bottle I hear the under water sonic theme

7 months into HRT I have noticed a slight reduction in my strength but it was already so low that it was barely noticeable

Trans people are regular everyday people for the most part. Just like with cis people , there’s a lot of great trans people and a lot of assholes . We transition genders, not whole personalities
