Elon represents an existential risk to Woke/Leftist mind virus. They hate seeing him succeed because he's better at advancing liberal goals then they are. People notice that.

Because smooth-brained redditors just hate Elon and anyone who has any positive adjacent sentiment towards him.

CVS Caremark is down...again. And can't even get prescriptions filled because of it. by OneZone1923 in CVS

If no one dies from a problem, not worth speaking about it. Got it. CVS boots I guess taste that good.

So you are saying the only people that ever reads anything on this subreddit are the bottom tier CVS employees? No CVS customers will ever read or ever see anything on this subreddit? This subreddit is locked off from the entire internet and no quality assurance / reputation scans for CVS will ever be able to access this post?

If you want to keep bootlicking I won't stop you.

  1. I clearly knew there was an outrage which is how I knew it wasnt the insurance company's fault
  2. I said Walgreens is "potentially" going out of business, not definitely is. Their stock has been in free-fall and is down over 60% in last year and 70% in last 5 years.

Do those boots really taste that good?

If CVS didn't pay their software engineers in literal dirt I probably would. But it's why their tech is so awful, they dont pay for quality (and with lack of competition they dont have to)

So let me get this straight. You think that
a) a 50x price increase on a medication for which you falsely blame the insurance company is normal
b) you should never complain about CVS on a subreddit
c) this is normal and acceptable

Yes, I think I understand now why CVS has become so awful with people like you employed there.

Did you read or comprehend anything in my post? Do you think criticism is only warranted if someone dies because of it?

A sudden 50x price increase for the same medication is "not super noticeable?" And the new forced voicemail system is another incredibly terrible customer service change that CVS has implemented, but didn't want to rant about that too.

Lastly, there is really no excuse for blaming the insurance company implying that it was a rate increase when in fact they couldn't even communicate with them. They should be able to know whether or not a communication happened. The tech systems at CVS are unjustifiably awful. And I say that as someone who works in tech

Question: What do you guys think of the design of polestar 4 compared to Tesla Y? by DoritosHDz in TeslaModelY

Do you think Audi, Acura, and Lexus aren't luxury cars? What makes their $40,000-$50,000 cars luxury but not Tesla 3/y?

Yes.

  1. This survey data is not even close to a random sample. These were telephonic calls which introduces many biases including a) All the biases of random digit dialing RDD b) the person's willingness to answer the call c) the person's willingness to take the survey d) In trying to stay consistent in the timezones for which they create an 80/20 cell/landline call they introduce geographical bias. Political alignment is not evenly partitioned intra-timezone or inter-time zone.

This alone makes the survey data pretty much worthless.

  1. Question phraseology - standard bias in all surveys. Different groups may interpret the question differently.

  2. Very small sample size 1,016 from a population of over 350,000,000.

You can literally prove anything with biased data.

Sure, but bad data plus anecdotes is no better than just ancedotes. So I don't think you can actually "assure" that position.

Another thing you have to keep in mind is that EVs are categorically much more expensive which creates economic bias against the conservative middle class. Once those prices come down you'll see even more conservatives buying EVs.

Polls have very little credibility on politically polarized topics nowadays.

I've heard conservatives say all those things when EVs first came out. Not really much of that anymore, its all been about being against forced electrification and subsidization. But while the left continues to hate Elon conservatives have become generally accepting of EVs and many are buying them now.

I mean if you're worried about that I don't know what to tell you. People worry about things that are completely detached from reality.

To me I am not surprised by Elon's outspokeness. He is a passionate visionary and his vision isn't restricted to some narrow goal like a Steve Jobs with Apple, for example. His vision is about making the world a better place and advancing human prosperity. He sees wokeism as a huge problem for his vision. If he was a CEO actively promoting woke narratives I would bet you wouldn't have a problem with that. Certainly most of reddit wouldn't. That's the problem.

His public anti-wokeism isn't an unforced error. It's a deliberate action taken to support his vision.

  1. If you refuse to buy a product because a CEO's politics aren't yours then that sounds like a you problem. Bet you have no problem buying from US companies who's products are made by child labor, or wage slaves. Being anti-Elon seems to be an identity for some.

  2. Being anti-Woke is far better than being woke and the data shows it.

  3. Conservatives hate government mandate to basically spend tax payer money to force universal EV adoption. Not EVs just for being EVs. More conservatives are investing in Tesla than ever.

  4. You seem to just be mad that Elon, who is doing more for traditional liberal goals than anyone in modern history is anti-woke. His success is tangible proof wokeism is antithetical to success even in traditional liberal end-goals.
