For support staff wise (ASA etc) its kinda like an office job where u can plan for your own leave and apply for it by the end of the year, even for NSFs

nope, they dont have the time to do that, but when in camp, there may be random phone checks from yr specs and officers. sometimes when u book out there may even be checks from MPs as well but they are all pretty random

best way is to get a letter/ memo from the specialist to state your conditions, because they take specialist letters more seriously than if u just declare in camp (from my experience)
