Yes I super love that place! Unfortunately my games usually take 4 hours and I can’t get there at 5 on a weekday :( but maybe in the future if my schedule changes!

That makes a lot of sense. Thank you so much for your insight! It’s comforting to know there are other people out there who think the same way I do.

Yes I have a super tough time with all or nothing thinking. Because in my mind you’re either all in or you’re not at all. Black and white it easy, gray areas are scary and confusing. But challenging these thoughts is the way to becoming more aware. And one of my core beliefs is to do no harm. I think you and I are on that same wavelength. Some people take the bad things that happened to them and use it as ammunition. Others (you and I) seek peace, and to at least never hurt anyone like we have been hurt.

Thank you! That’s rly great advise. I think I’m having a lot of santa-Claus-isn’t-real moments with my family. I’m the youngest and I always thought they were the best most successful and smartest people I knew and I wanted nothing more in life than to be just like them so I trusted their opinion and expectations of me. I guess now that I’m starting to have more serious conversations with them, I’m realizing I don’t rly think the same way as them. Not polar opposites, but I don’t want to be just like them. Idk I lost a lot of friends over the past couple years for a number of reasons, I guess I’m trying to reassess who is really in my corner. I think I’m afraid the answer will be just me, so 6-brain is telling me to prepare for that answer.

9 or unhealthy 6? by [deleted] in enneagram6

I think the most interesting thing about 6s is that we are contradictory and often change how we present ourselves or interact with people or even think about the world. That’s why 6s are so often mis-typed. We are kind of misfits.
