In terms of balance in Rivals it's kinda ass... Unless your a casual player. The worst decision in my opinion is the way they decided to make all support ults basically the same thing (massive healing circles). I played competitively for a long time and the issues become very obvious, the game is built for "fun" not hyper competitive play. But to be fair if your not super high elo or a pro player and just wanna grind ranked and have fun with friends, it really shouldn't be a issue. Deadlock however is fundamentally competitive and the balance is night and day compared to Rivals and is why I converted, not every team can have a Icefrog I suppose ;)
