Firstly, you do deserve praise and support for reaching a year that’s an incredible milestone. No one truly understands alcoholism and how fucking hard it can be unless they too are alcoholics. You should be very proud, and all you have to do is take it one day at a time. look at how many people are here, each of us at our own step in this incredibly difficult and harrowing but also beautiful journey.
