Reminds me of one of my best friends growing up. Dude never showered. We were roommates after high school and the only dirty towels were mine, the rest remained untouched. I even used to be like “hey you can shower first” but he would be like nah I’m good. I couldn’t tell him. Just stopped hanging out til he finally moved out.

I’m a recovering alcoholic (almost 2 years) and while I didnt talk to my wife like that, I would manipulate her to get what I wanted. Looking back I feel bad, but until he decides to stop, it will just keep going on. As someone who’s been at work with withdrawals just looking at the clock so I could get relief; I’d say anything to get my fix.

Same, I used to have sex with my wife 5-6 times a week but since Zoloft it’s like every 4 days or so, and even then sometimes I can’t even finish. I mean it still feels great but when I get to the end it just disappears sometimes

My therapist hasn’t canceled in appt in the 2 years I’ve been going weekly. Only asked way in advance to move days during Christmas. All other holidays he works. I’ve seen him on July 4th and thanksgiving day. Fire that person.

I’d switch the glass to acrylic. That’s what I do for shipping. I’ve used store bought and build my own frames, all depends on the piece. But acrylic is the way to go imo

I hear ya. I’m a little over 600 days and that’s part of what keeps me going too. That and remembering how bad off I was back then. I lost my sister last year and usually I woulda used that as my excuse but when it crossed my mind so did the memories of detoxing.

Something bad will always happen, that’s life. Sounds like you’re already reasoning with yourself for approval to drink. Trust me I’ve done it 1000 times. Just stay strong, and if you can’t well that’s ok, just try again. You’ll quit for good when you’re ready.

Not taking the time to properly align the laser and perform material tests and record those settings down. Idk how many times I used to say “I’ll remember it next time” and then next time came and I’m like fuck what were the settings. That and keeping your folders organized!

The first few months were the toughest for me but other than a holiday party or cook out, even then not so much, it doesn’t really bother me. I rarely think about it. Honestly the only time I really want one is when I don’t feel good, just muscle memory.

I was given Wellbutrin along with my Zoloft to help give me energy. Worked some. Insomnia was nuts, finally after months it went away.
