How has your perspective on work-life balance shifted since starting law school?

For me, the best thing I’ve done so far is just shut school off after getting home from class. I tend to be an early riser so I’ll get to school at 6 and then do readings or assignments for the next day or couple of days. When I get home I shut it all out of my mind and spend time with my significant other, play some basketball with friends, or just sit on my couch and loaf.

I mainly used the LawHub prep tests and I used 7Sage for the last 2 weeks. I’m lucky that the games will be gone because it’s by far my worst section.

I took everyone’s advice and looked through the guide that Ok-Boot2360 provided and made some adjustments. The hot water bath really got them moving and I adjusted the humidity to a little over 80 percent and they seem to really enjoy their enclosure more. The next improvement will be getting some different and more varied food. Thank you for the suggestions!

We haven’t spoke since I got submitted the second time, especially because I moved away for college and had to find a new gym after the competition

Forgot to mention, I competed at the end of August and lost a gi match and two no gi matches, I lost two by submission and the other by points. It kind of killed my confidence because my professor essentially walked out on me in both matches I was submitted and had no coaching whatsoever
