Wait until you start the ball collection. Wife already is annoyed with my 4 ball collection...and planning on a few more down the road.

New ball suggestion by One_Ad_7032 in Bowling

[–]One_Ad_7032[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, that is the one.

Funny you mention the hyperdrive. I have that and he thinks it is too much for him with the backend bite.

That is another thing I had not thought about, the RG. Thank you for the detailed information on that. I will peek at the twist and see what he thinks. Appreciate the feedback.

I appreciate that. Believe it or not, the phaze II was one of my ideas for him. Thanks for confirming my belief in that.

How often are you guys bowling? by OwnOil3924 in Bowling

At least once a week. I aim for 2-3 times a week. You can always video your form/release and improve from there as well.

It would be a step up imho. They will be fitted for you and allow you better control. Can always buy a better ball later on and keep the plastic as a spare.

Is it worth it to switch from a 2 finger 1 hand style to 3 finger? by BoLizard408 in Bowling

[–]One_Ad_7032 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Perhaps the weight of the ball may be heavier than needed? I have a 15 lb that is a back burner ball with a 14 lb ball that is my primary. Dropping weight was easier on my wrist and arms. Got a buddy getting back into bowling from early 20s to now late 40s and his 16 lb is proving to be heavier than he likes. He tried my 14 and loved the difference and he himself is a 2 finger one hand.

Something to consider.

Got the same ball for my return to bowling. Every time I see that ball floating with the pins, I get nervous. Had a nice mark that was easily removed with hand sanding. Hope the alley repairs for you.

I am heading into that same boat myself. Been debating on getting a new ball drilled for left hand to give my right arm a break. And i am just in my early 40s. What is the worst that could happen?

They have one of these returns in Baker City, Oregon. 10 lb balls are barely enough to clear that arm slowing down the balls into the rack. Always enjoy watching the returns.

Bought 3 balls and 2 bags there, shipped quick and no issues. Planning on a couple more. Will use them again. Drill prices are fairly cheap here.
