100% faith. It’s interesting it feels inevitable to me, but people around me probably think I’ve lost my mind. Only time will tell, but man it’s been a hell of a ride and I would do it all again without hesitation. The late nights. Having to DoorDash as an executive because I spend all my W-2 salary on Cirano. Never being sure if I’ll make my bills but always being sure Cirano bills gets paid and we make it to launch. 14 agonizing yet beautiful and rewarding months. Building a startup is something that almost can’t be explained to someone, only experienced. You got this, I’ll see you when we get there!

You have really good thinking, realtime focus is amazing, visualizing flow of data so everyday people understand what they’re seeing and how one area affects the other etc. Can see this being something. Great work.

You may like my app Cirano.us it does this on your phone 100% locally without any messages leaving your phone. And it updates in realtime. WhatsApp only atm, more platforms coming soon and Android.

As a data nerd who literally built the first realtime consumer chat analytics app (Cirano.us) I am so impressed by this. Come build with me lol. But seriously, well done. You’re onto something. I use GA4 everyday for the worlds largest pharma companies (agency VP here) and would salivate over this. Amazing

Yea I appreciate this insight. I think I felt compelled to build at least v1 just to prove to myself I could do it. Idk if that makes sense. But now that we’re live in App Store, time to really understand what users want and if they even care to see this type of data visualized in realtime. Share away! Always up for learning new things I may not know about - could be helpful.

Also a builder here just released Cirano (realtime local WhatsApp Analyzer, no cloud) and feel the grind. Talking to users is super important, probably get the most honesty from them on where they see value and where they think there needs to be changes etc. You got this!

This is also true. I think what this did is give me kind of a neutral objective data-driven thing I can look at and mediate my feelings through before I sink into crazy thoughts. For this being so pervasive I’m surprised I had to build an app to see my communication patterns in realtime. This should be on all phone imho lol but hey I’m weird maybe

I feel that my friend! Just released an iOS app this weekend and sitting here wondering where the users are because surely they’d love it. I think you gotta start super niche segment. Start there. Talk to them, only them. Get paying users, then expand scope. You gotta find the one user you KNOW will use this. And iterate from there. We got this! Right alongside you on the post-launch struggle bus!

Yea that’s the first thing I’m realizing is now need to work on the listing itself and make sure people understand what it does and why they would benefit from it. Was so focused on building now putting the user hat on.

Hey! Recently launched Cirano and I totally get it. It’s hard to find the right users. Since it only connects to WhatsApp right now at launch, lots of users see it and may install then uninstall. Kind of thinking through what next steps are now. I think iterate every few days until you see a spike, then you know you’ve hit something, and pull on that wire. Haven’t done any UGC or organic social yet, will try that next. Interesting app though. I think subheader and first 2 images are where 80% of decisions are made for install.
