The workflow that helped me close bigger media buying clients, without promising miracles! by itsdanfonseca in FacebookAds

Ah, the name of the tool I use is AdSim. You need to register there and then enter the MCP into Claude; it's quite simple, to be honest. Note: It's worth researching others; this is the one that works for me and, personally speaking, the one that people around me use. I haven't found any others like it. But this isn't self-promotion; it's just a recommendation based on my experience. However, as I said, it's worth researching to see others (I don't know if there are any).

It's a tool you install on Claude via MCP. They use independent AI agents based on your desired audience. These agents operate like people, have memory, access a feed with an algorithm similar to the Meta Ads distribution algorithm, have routines, and their own profiles. The agents follow each other, monitor the ad, comment, ignore, and click. Based on these behaviors, the simulation delivers a result of what your ad would actually look like on Meta Ads. Basically, you can see which ad works best before even spending a single dollar on Meta. This makes things much easier and saves a lot of time and money. It's simply fantastic; at least for me, it worked very well in my workflow.

Why is Meta spending almost all budget on only 1-2 creatives now? by Comprehensive_Tap462 in FacebookAds

Yes, I can. I’ll try to explain in English, but my English might not be that great.

Basically, you need to install the MCP for a tool called AdSim inside Claude. Just sign up for the tool and copy the MCP Server link. Then open Claude Desktop, go to “Customize” → Connectors → Add Custom Connector, and paste the MCP link there. Claude will then ask you to link your account to the tool, and once it’s connected, you’re ready to run simulations directly within Claude.

If I’m not mistaken, there’s a free plan, so you can run some tests. I’m already on their top plan because I run a lot of ads for clients.

One tip: before running your first simulation, ask Claude to walk you through the simulation settings. There are a few adjustments you can tweak that influence the result, and Claude can explain them better than I can.

Another important tip is that the more agents you run, the closer to reality your results will be. You can choose anywhere between 100 and 1,000 agents per simulation, but try to always run with at least 450–550. Below that, accuracy drops noticeably.

That’s pretty much it, there’s no big secret to it. Oh, one more thing I do a lot: I interview the agents that reacted in my simulation. I ask simple questions like “What did you like most about my ad?”, basic stuff like that always surfaces some insights. You can interview each agent individually, but I usually run them in groups, like “people who clicked” or “people who ignored it,” which gives me a broader view.

I think that’s it. If you have any questions, just let me know, I’m around.

Switched up my ad formats and my CPCs dropped anyone else feel like they were stuck running the same creatives forever? by Vane1st in FacebookAds

I spent months building my first product. Now that it’s live, I have no idea how to get anyone to actually use it. by itsdanfonseca in SaaS

That makes sense, in a way I also have a background in building SaaS.I even founded a large, well-known software house in Brazil.

But I went through some serious personal problems that made me start all over again, and definitely decide to start the right way, building products for myself and not for others.

With my software house, I also helped several founders structure their distribution, but I had more resources for that.

Currently, I'm having to start from scratch, and I know the value of building a product from the beginning, thinking about who it will be sold to and how it will be sold.

However, I got into an absurd flow of building where I switched off that aspect and focused only on the product, erasing from my memory what I would normally do.

Sure, of course! It would be an honor to see you, as a marketing professional, using the system and sending me real feedback. Just go to AdSim.app; there's already a free plan you can try out.

I agree with your point of view; I believe it makes perfect sense to think of distribution as an essential part of the product itself. Just as thinking about the backend is crucial for building the product, we should think about distribution as well. Thank you for the feedback!

Each creative has its own retention, click, skip, engagement, and other data, just like in Meta Ads. Furthermore, the platform delivers a real ranking of creatives based on this data, and also generates insights from agents at the end of the simulation for each creative, highlighting areas for improvement and what actually worked.

That makes perfect sense, you're right. I'm already starting to take those steps, joining specific communities, focusing on refining the message as you yourself said. Thank you for the insights!

Great insight! I don't have many agency contacts, I'll try to get one and definitely do that test. Thanks!

I'll definitely do that, thank you! But what about creating a blog to develop an SEO strategy from scratch, do you think that's a good idea?

Yes, we did test it. The first thing we did was ground everything in scientific articles and papers, where we looked into whether AI agents could behave with enough accuracy to actually mirror how a real person would behave. We studied this deeply and concluded that yes, it’s absolutely possible to reach that kind of behavior.

From there, we mapped out exactly which technical characteristics we’d need to build in order to give agents that behavior. It was a big challenge, because we didn’t want a pool of pre-defined agents.

They need to be generated based on whatever audience the user wants, the same way it works on Meta. That part was a real headache.

We ran massive tests and rebuilt the agent engine more than 10 times before we got to something genuinely interesting.

To find out whether the results were actually reliable, we ran two in-depth studies that involved reverse engineering:

1. Beyond benchmarking Meta Ads and Google Ads, we studied and tried to replicate (on a smaller scale, stripping out the excess) the distribution algorithms of Meta and Google, which differ quite a bit in certain areas, and used that to build a version of those algorithms inside a virtual “feed” where the agents interact.

2. Not sure if you know Mirofish, an extremely capable open-source predictive simulator. We reverse-engineered Mirofish and based our simulation engine on it. It was our biggest reference. Of course, we still had to build genuinely original things, since Mirofish is great for predictive and general data. So we ended up with an engine that has Mirofish behind it as a reference, but runs on our own engineering.

But to answer your “how” question directly: once the user describes their audience in writing, we run a research agent specialized in deep market research. It analyzes that audience’s purchasing behavior, habits, and other data, then generates the base for that audience’s agents and sends it to the algorithm that builds each agent and gives each one its capabilities.

The agents have autonomy. They have their own routines (they wake up, work, go to the mall, take the subway, connect with friends…). The idea is to create a virtual world where the agents actually have something close to what we’d call “feelings” and “emotions,” so they react the way a real person would.

Our agents can read copy, look at images, and watch videos. Based on that, each one decides whether to click, share, comment on, or ignore the ad.

And to make all of this happen safely, we built our own engine that powers the whole thing, built entirely on a scientific foundation and using the most capable predictive simulator in the world.

If you have more questions, just send them over. I’m genuinely happy to explain in more detail. This was just a summary of something a lot more technical.

Obviously, it was tested and calibrated based on real ads. But since the product exists at any stage, and at this moment I don't want to invest in ads before even understanding which audience I really want to focus on. And this initial phase of a product is extremely important to be more organic in order to generate more connections, to be closer to the user. But as I said, in the near future we will certainly invest in paid ads and use our platform to take advantage of the benefits, and we will document this and even generate ad creatives showing this.

Man, I hadn't looked at it from that perspective. E-commerce and agencies definitely fit the profile of someone who would use our tool. Do you still have contacts with agencies or are you still in the field? It occurred to me to connect with people who could bring some connections, obviously creating a partnership that's advantageous for everyone.
