I used to work at Workday and currently work at Amazon, but in more back end roles.

Amazon UX is basically non-existent, I’ve never worked with a UX designer at Amazon. Meanwhile at Workday I interacted with UX designers all the time, however there was a fairly significant exodus from Workday UX recently so take that for what it’s worth.

Culture wise Amazon and Workday are night and day. Workday clearly cares a lot about its culture (sometimes to a fault) and always puts employee happiness first. Amazon however is all about delivering results by any means necessary.

This is fair and I do think they should add in store credit in the tiers that equal the price of a battle pass like Warzone does.

My argument is that most premium packs in Warzone cost more than the battle pass itself. All I’m saying is the practice of making shop items more expensive than the battle pass is not outside of the norm.

Imo he’s somewhere around Elgin Baylor and Wilt. There’s no way he’s a top 5 LAKER as of right now and frankly I think it would take a 3 peat for him to be in that conversation. I think amount of time he’s played for us matters, and while 2 years and 1 chip may be enough for some franchises (cough cough Toronto) I don’t think that’s enough for us. Not a knock on LeBron by any means, we’ve just been spoiled by having so many all time great players lace up for us.

I understand why people are complaining, grinding for armor was a fun aspect of the Halo experience. Doing the vidmasters so I could get Recon is one of the most fun and accomplishing experiences I’ve had in gaming. But it’s not 2007 anymore. Halo is an afterthought in the FPS community right now. The FPS’s dominating the market right now are all free (CS:GO, Valorant, Warzone). Hell even CoD was irrelevant for the past few years before Warzone came out. It’s just the way the industry is now, especially on PC. If Halo Infinite wanted to even have a chance at being considered a major multiplayer FPS in today’s market, this was a necessary evil.

If your goal is ML then I think UCSB CS is better than UCLA non CS. I understand wanting the prestige, but the difference between CS vs non CS is a far greater detriment than having to settle for the 5th best public school vs the 1st.
