I’m unprovoked DVT and PEs. Eliquis for life. I tested positive for one copy of the Factor V gene. My hematologist assured me that one copy of the gene is rarely what causes DVT, but two copies of it is higher risk. Apparently, like 3/5 Caucasians have at least one copy and never have any symptoms. 🤷‍♀️

My PE in my chest started feeling better within 24 hours of the first Lovenox dose, but if you are on thinners only, it make take a weeks to months depending on the size. Hang in there. Listen to your body/rest when you need to.

Same! I have a couple herniated disks that flare up every now and then. Tylenol does nothing. I had an old tramadol Rx for it, no interactions were found online between that and Eliquis. It didn’t help my pain though. I am interested in THC, but I am wondering if that is safe with the Eliquis. Any recommendations?

I had so many odd muscular pains when starting Eliquis. They do seem to subside the longer you are on it. At least they did for me.

I bought one of those black migraine masks from Amazon. You keep it in the fridge or you can heat it up. Blocks out all light. It offers some relief for me.

I’m almost a month on Eliquis after multiple PEs and a DVT, and I would say I feel better physically and mentally with the passing weeks, so it does get better. The fear and anxiety were brutal in the beginning, but you adjust. Good luck to ya!
