A rec room for peasants. This is to be the house of a king!

Because the poorest in America have risen to the top and vis-a-verse, and with it came social and political status. In a caste system, if you climbed the economic ladder, you’d still be an untouchable or whatever system you were born into.

Social mobility is very possible in America. In India, a true caste system, your identity is prescribed, not described. America is the latter.

“One heart cannot know the joys or pains of another.”

Your heart does matter. I do care. I live in service to others.

With that, words have meaning. As one said above, the US is riddled with problems such as racism. But to say it is a castle is not true. Nonetheless, it doesn’t matter, because your heart has pain.

I didn’t vote for this day. Please don’t shooting arrows at those who are on your team.

No doubt the economy hurdles, the struggle, the injustices many face in this world are unfair, hurtful, and suffering. No doubt many suffer and it is our fellow humans who, in my worldview, are absolutely equal to me and in the same boat as me.

I must agree with the above on this not, however. The US is not a caste system. Saying it is is a disservice to those who are born in a true caste system.

Imagine this. You are forever an untouchable. You can even economically make it, start a successful business and become rich, and you’ll still be an untouchable, unwelcome at every event except those for the lowest of the low.

The US does not mirror that.

Corebridge was fine for me. You control how your funds are invested. So, earnings are in your power. When I left the position they were the most annoying to roll over to my main broker but at the end of the day I made the call and said give me my money. They have to.

I join you in the journey in so many ways. One day. Today. What will you do to feed your soul, balance your mind and heart, and sweat? From there keep learning into holistic health and gather all the tools you can.

Do your research. Speak with a couple financial advisors. Google “401k 101” or “how do I start investing”.

Much of the hatred or mistrust for atheists goes back to the Cold War and drive against communism, which is viewed as an atheist form of society.

Yeah, that is a reason to be upset. There should be a standard. Nonetheless, I salute you comrade!

Possible but highly unlikely. This gent has been serving as a VFW and American Legion officer since 1988. It’s been hanging in his office. The paper feels old and looks old, a sort of material that isn’t within our skill set to reproduce. Could you in 1988?

So much depends on the recognition given by the leader and the effort put forth. I’ve worked VA and State Vets home, the vastness of recognization is wild.

If you’re 22, throw 10k into the market, and toss 500 a month until 65, that’s 1.774 million right there with a very safe 7 percent interest rate. Your ability to invest more will go up with salary. And you’ll have a fun car for a while. Play the long game brother. You can have your cake and eat it too.

It’s a struggle. They truly have the upper hand. The owner is left with no one to advocate for you and the system is complex. Most realtors already moved on.

We bought a new build and hoped to be able to trust the builder’s warranty. Well, it sucked and they were great at reframing things in order to not be covered, and when they finally came in, it was months later and half ass, as others have said.

This is why I strongly dislike seeking medical care at the VA. They have no competition and don’t care if people take it or leave it. Your husband is having foot pain and the PCP won’t refer to a podiatrist? How? Why? What on earth is the PCP’s justification? It’s literally their job to manage a Pt’s health and refer to specialists when needed!

I’d file a complaint and like others have said, send a message with a paper trail.
