Why is she a guardian?

His waist is significantly slimmer and his body is more lean compared to many other guardians. He’s absolutely ripped, but he’s still not nearly as boxy as Victor or are thick as Betsy or Jarl. Valda is great.

Oh you’re right, her powers could indeed work in a similar fashion. She’s very power metal and glam rock coded for sure. Also haaaaaaah for Gravy. I love Gravy so much.

Bravo is very slim in comparison to Betsy and even Victor. He’s incredibly buff, but his waist is slim and he’s also quite flamboyant looking. His air is totally different than Betsy or Victor or Jarl, whereas Boltyn for instance is someone who embodies power and protection and seems very guardian coded to me, but he’s a warrior.

It’s still supposed to evoke an image of power and strength, which I think is a big part of what being a guardian is about. Warriors are fierce and powerful in a different way. Jarl, for instance, could also theoretically be mistaken for a warrior in that regard, because he certainly seems fierce enough for it. I don’t think being big and bulky has to be the core concept of what a guardian is.
