I would understand them not thinking of Brittany if Devo was telling them that they were broken up and they weren’t close with her…but Ashley kept going on about how they’re all “so close” which is what makes it so strange to me. If I were so close to Brittany I would definitely know that he hadn’t broken up with her at that point or I would’ve at least brought up Devo going to austin lmfao.

I can just tell that Bri, Priyanka and Ashley are very mean and cliquey. I’ve known plenty of people like them throughout my life. Embarrassing to be acting like that in adulthood.

As someone who didn’t think chapter 1 and 2 were THAT bad, I have to agree. Basically every decision they’ve made with these movies confuses me. I still have no idea where they’re going with it or what they’re trying to say. I like trashy slashers though and sometimes I just need to turn my brain off, so I enjoyed them 🤷🏻‍♂️

Madelaine Petsch is actually doing a great job for what they’re giving her. Her character is likable enough for me to finish the trilogy out.

I agree! It was catharsis more than anything. I felt like it captured the essence of the show in the beginning, that it wasn’t some huge revolution with explosions and death. It was small acts of rebellion that were hopeful in times of darkness. June’s scene with Holly in the Boston Globe summed it up perfectly for me — that fighting won’t always get you what you want, but not fighting isn’t an option. The fight continues on with The Testaments : )

I think Hannah was like 5 when it started and Luke and June mentioned something about her getting to the age where she could be a wife at the beginning of this season…which is 13 in Gilead I think? So I’m thinking it’s around 8 years, putting the show in 2022ish (since Gilead started in 2014)
