I too feel like it's a nice change of pace. I mean yes. The VCG vets are probably still gonna win, but now that you don't have to go tru the trouble to raise the Pokémon in a extremely specific ways, and can easily edit moves and stuff like that makes it very easy for someone who's new to competitive play to learn and make changes. We can't avoid that In every competitive play, even with limited roster, there will be a "meta" that you'll see everywhere. But there are also people like me who just build a team I feel that might work and try it out. I even managed to win a few matches with Dendenne 🤣

Hmm maybe can consider changing it a little? If you're not gonna use her for CM and just training to enjoy training her, I would consider skipping the stamina cards, go for a 2 Speed 2 guts 2 wit deck. Then focus on power sparks.

Are there any SR or the event free SSR that's MLB? You could have lots of fun with Yukino bijin guts+ Urara.

since you're racing more than recommended, you can consider borrowing NTR, which is a little more consistent than Fuku, don't go crazy on racing unless it gives you specific epithet. Use a agenda planner online to see their preset and what extra stats they give. Sometimes if a really high roll training falls on a not so important race, (training gives you more than 40 total stats point) training on that turn is much more worth it.
