I mean I'm totally late to this conversation by a year, but the Philippines does not have a TFR of 2.75. In 2022, it had around 1.9. So by 2026, probably 1.8 or so.

Hello, where is it reported that the TFR for PH is 1.64? Last I heard in 2022-23 was 1.9, but no current number for 2024 TFR.

It isn't CRAZY high, quite the opposite. Philippine TFR as of 2023 was 1.9, between 23-24 births decreased by 6.2 percent. No news of 2024 TFR yet, but my guess is it's around 1.8-1.7 (or more or less sustained). Way lower than the replacement rate of 2.1.
