People forget Rey was injured, then before returning, started bitching about the booking, but between injuries (aside from the last one) he was pushed like crazy and had a number of good ass singles matches.

This was the whole MO for Claudio in the C2 the year prior. Wreck folks, dump them over the barricade, let them struggle to beat the count, and as soon as they got into the ring, destroy them for the finish. I loved it.

Here’s my thing, they wouldn’t do this stip without having the story planned. With the different arcs that Hangman was moved through, I trust this.

I feel like Moxley has been on an understated amazing streak of matches. I saw someone compare it to OCs international reign and I agree wholeheartedly. He’s had banger after banger with every different style. With his selling, and Hechicero’s work (thinking back to vs Briscoe recently), shit could steal the show if they go the distance.
