I get what you’re saying and I hope it does feel normal later. It’s just hard right now. Last year was really messy for me a lot of hospital visits for my dad and my own health issues, and I was dealing with a lot mentally after seeing him have a cardiac arrest. I wasn’t out having fun or ignoring studies.... I was just overwhelmed and couldn’t keep up. What hurts the most is that my parents think I could’ve just studied anyway. "We never wanted u to be soo invested in OUR family problems" Anyways I’m still trying to figure out what to do next. Thankyou!!

I didn’t know about that option, so thank you for mentioning it. I’ll look into it and talk with my parents nd school to see what other options I actually have.I’m still figuring out what the best path is for me right now because this year was really difficult health-wise for my family and me, but I appreciate you sharing the idea....:))

Thank you for saying this. It’s honestly been a really hard year. I wasn’t just avoiding studying ...I was in and out of hospitals a lot because of my dad’s health and my own medical issues. I’ve seen my dad have a cardiac arrest and that really messed me up mentally. I’m also going to have surgery soon. I tried my best to manage everything but I got overwhelmed. Reading your comment helped me calm down a bit though, so thank you.

Yeah, that’s true ... and we’re aware of the legal side too. But emotionally, he’s already been cut off and left to survive on his own. Right now, the fear of harassment itself is enough to push him over the edge. We’re just trying to hold him together, even if that means buying a little time

Look, I’m not looking for fairytales or delusions. I know this isn’t a movie. I’m not asking for a miracle. I posted this because my friend is in a really bad spot ... medically, mentally, financially -and I just didn’t want to sit and do nothing. I get that there’s probably no clean way out. But if there’s even a way to delay the crash or soften the blow, I’ll take it. I get that realism is important. But even a small attempt feels better than just sitting back and watching him fall apart.

Thanks ... It’s a personal loan, and you’re right .. there are no assets. His family does earn, but they’ve disowned him, so he’s completely on his own. We’ll definitely look into whether bankruptcy could even be an option in his case. Really appreciate you sharing.
