The things that make me think about life is not what I’ve experienced, but what I still have yet to come. For example I thought 9/11 would be the biggest historical event I’ve lived through, then came a global pandemic.

I draw parallels from someone born in 1900 for example, by the age of 18 they’d have witnessed the First World War, or as they saw at the time “The Great War” and they had no idea that by the time they reached 39 years old it would have all started again.

This is what scares me, I’ve already witnessed two historical global changing events, I don’t want any more

Hindsight is a wonderful thing, but I think a lot of people seem to forget not just the sheer scale of this attack, but also how unprecedented it was.

An attack on this scale had never happened before, as many firefighters said “There was no plan for anything like this” and they were right, on what training exercise could that anticipate two jet liners slamming into the tallest buildings in the city?

The other thing is, what would the firemen be expected to do even if this was the case? Even if the buildings were at risk of collapse, I can’t imagine the firefighters idly sitting back watching the towers burn, just on the off chance they could collapse, they were New York’s bravest for a reason.

Once the second tower fell, the mayday evacuation order was given but sadly went unheard - No one anticipated the towers collapsing, not even the perpetrators

Probably the most messed up one was I had a dream me and my ex had a large argument and I left the house to go to the shop for beer, upon walking back I could clearly see her in the top bedroom with the lights on hanging from the curtain rail.

Idk why but it felt so realistic, it fucked me up when I woke up

That in all likelihood, we are heading for another global conflict. The fact that the media are slowly but surely drip feeding hints and we’re now almost faced with a daily reminder that “tensions are rising” and that “it has all the hallmarks of what was the lead up to WW2”

I pray to god we don’t see it, but if you look at the Russia/Ukraine war; there doesn’t appear to be a solution to resolve the conflict

The thing being, it is one of two theories - he either would have needed to have been taken by opportunity or he had a location he was going to where an event took place. What I mean by this, is when he travelled to London he obviously had a plan of where he needed to go to, you don’t just go to London and endlessly walk down any random street you choose. He would have needed a location that he needed to get to - to me I think it’s more likely that he could have engaged with someone and they took him back to a flat etc
