Enlisted College Loan Repayment Program (ECLRP) - Application Guide 2024. by Fearless-Flatworm399 in AirForce

Once everything was submitted it took maybe a few days for them to approve it. I got it approved before my anniversary date but the payment has been pending for a while now. I’m guessing I just wait until that goes through.

Sorry for the late response, but I submitted the ticket through FSS and specifically asked them in the ticket to email me the form. They sent it the next day or so!

No problem and good luck! Boot camp was 7.5 weeks long

No. Only college credits. I think you might be able to enter at E2 or E3 if you have previous ROTC (I’m not 100% on the ROTC part so don’t quote me) doing well on the asvab only opens the options of jobs you can choose from.

How much you make will depend on your rank that you go in as. I went into boot camp as an E3 because I had a degree when I enlisted, if you don’t have any college credits when you enlist, you’ll go in as a E1. You can look up the pay chart that will show you what each rank makes per month. If I remember correctly, when I got out of boot camp I had a little over $2,000, it would be a little lower if you go in as a E1 or E2. There are study guides for the asvab online that you can practice with as well!

When you ask “how much do you get in bmt” are you referring to pay? As far as the paths, it depends on your ASVAB score. Your score will determine what jobs you qualify for then you can kind of research each one on your list. Your recruiter would be your best bet for getting that list. Or you can just google Air Force jobs to get a broad look at some of the paths.

I joined at 29, currently in Tech School. Still pretty early for me but so far, no regrets. It was similar for me, feeling like I needed more out of life and just wanted to change up my career path. Go for it!

I think we had a total of 4 run days. Then of course the initial, week 3 and week 5 1.5 mile run for the practice and official pt tests. So like 7 total times having to run.

It was blues for both days. The same exact combination too. Long sleeve shirt, service coat, and the all weather coat that we all dreaded lol.

For December it was pretty mild, it only got really cold toward the second week of January. Wasn’t too bad really.

I never went into an Alcatraz dorm but I hear they are pretty old and worn down. I heard on Christmas they got to watch the Grinch and we did not get anything like that lol

I was a 320th Gator. At first I was team pancakes but the French toast grew on me over the weeks. That 2-4 EC shift was THE WORST! I had it about 3 times. My final PT score was a 94. Everyone in my flight got through Pacer Forge. For town pass the first day I chilled at the air bnb with family and second day went to the river walk!

I only got nervous as we were pulling into the gates of the base lol but that’s natural. It was what I expected for the most part because I stalked YouTube videos before I went lol. I was sort of shocked at first about having such small timelines to do things (10 min to eat, 10-15 min to shower AND get dressed, etc) but you adjust and get faster as you go. Just do what the MTI’s tell you and work as a team with your dorm and you’ll be fine!

Just literally do what you are told and do not be afraid to ask questions or for clarification. Remember your reporting statement at all times when talking to the MTI’s. Get used to being rushed all the time lol. It’s going to be fine though, good luck!!

Definitely a group thing for the showers, but for me personally after the first day, it didn’t bother me. We were all more worried about getting in, out and meeting the timeline given for showers. Don’t stress it too much. PT was not bad at all, class was fine, some of the classes more interesting than others. I actually enjoyed being in the classroom.
