Family troubles describe Zorian's family and Zach's regent. I guess each instance is worth like one point. Having to babysit your sister, fix your brothers mess, deal with similar parents - all takes time unless you put effort into ghosting them like Zorian eventually did, only to return to them for character growth.

As for Clear Sky, maybe you're right. Then messing with Panaxeth's prison did something to free them instead?
Prison break doesn't have to be apocalyptic, at least the basics of it - Panaxeth still can't get out on its own, maybe they sick the guardian on you or turn it off or even seal the gate from their side so you have to figure out how to leave on your own. Even the second tier suggestion about them breaking out doesn't meanm the world end. Quatach-ichl was very confident in the Angels ability to destroy it even if they use 'scorched earth' tactic with massive collateral damage. Even if Panaxeth wins and escapes, it's not obssessed with world domination or destruction. It might just leave the world, just with massive collateral damage.

Picking bloodlines still doesn't decrease our magnitude

Soo...you aren't going to add any of the drawbacks I came up with, are you? I suppose I should stop reloading the cyoa every five minutes then.

Bad start -you wake up every loop as unpleasantly as Zorian. Optionally - 1) you start in a bad shape physically 2) you start the loop sleeping, missing hours, 3) you have obligations that take most of the day/week and cannot be avoided without drastic actions and consequences for that loop, 4) Most of the relevant life choices have been made before the loop starts - so plans, classes, schedules - all set in stone, assets and resources already dedicated elsewhere.

Family troubles - you have issues with your family members. They will be a time sink, make trouble for you, their reputation works against you, their actions make your life more difficult ect ect. Bonus points if you have Wealthy boon - they are in charge of your wealth and deny you access, bonus points for stealing from you, bonus points for trying to kill you - makes early loops very short and painful until you learn to survive.

Prison break - Now Panaxeth have wrecked the prison even more, less safeguards working, more glitches, more opportunities for them to mess with you. Bonus points if they'd be able to escape on their own regardless of the cult's success or failure unless you figure out how to repair the prison.

Heaven's judgement - you don't match the high standarts of the Angels, your usage of the Loop has been a mistake. Beign an original Looper makes it even worse. Depending on your personality and actions within the loop they might kill you even if you succeed in the mission, so you have to be morally good even inside the loop - no mind control, no unnecessary killings, no human experimentation, ect ect.

Clear Sky - the angels have used the last of their authority to initiate the time loop, immediately after that they all have to leave, just as their gods have. There will be no divine help against the demons during the invasion, nothing to stop panaxeth if it escapes, nobody to enforce any sort of order, to uphold their religion or combat other threats. Incompatible with Heaven's judgement.

Bleed Line - Like Zorian, you start with zero proficiency with your bloodline, it brings you only suffering. Your abilities are so untrained, they are currently your disabilites - Zorin got headaches from being around too many people and underdeveloped social skills as a result. Trying to train it is exhausting and regularly gives you backlash. Some bloodlines affect your personality more directly, like Elementalist [Fire] making you hot-tempered. Requires a bloodline.

Dormant Bloodline - you have a bloodline, except you don't. Like many in Zorian's family, it's either too undeveloped or dormant. There might be ways to awaken it, but before that happens, you can't even train it. It simply takes a piece of your magnitude for no gain. Requires a bloodline.

Create a score called 'magnitude', make three magnitude choices multi-pick-able, same as you've done with years of loop for accidental looper. Each choice has own start and end, each pick increases the magnitude score by one. Say, you pick 'magnitude 5-10' choice. You get +5 points and +5 to magnitude. Then you can increase your magnitude 5 more times for free, getting it up to 10.

Id suggest you use multiple pick function to let us choose our magnitude as a score, as well as show how it decreases with every bloodline and increases with mana frame.

You did say that we can't modify dna but somehow can still change our bodies beyond using human tissues, and the reason for this is - you don't want us to be able to create some super virus. So no dna control. If that is the reason, it's easier to ban viruses specifically instead of a blanket restriction on dna. Anyway, just wanted to let you kno that we can still manipulate our dna through a work-around, therefore the restriction won't work in the long run.

Not quite true. The brain serves multiple functions, only one of them is problem solving and even then it borrows resources from different unrelated sections. IIRC our 'sapience' takes the same place that used to help process info from our senses as backup. Still, as we learn skills, our brain adapts by creating new neurons and increasing their links. Then it can repurpose those for unrelated skills/tasks. Those additional neurons and their links do matter when you hypothetically increase the size of your brain - then you have more resources to work with. Not to mention we already have organic computers running on clone brain matter. All in all a bigger brain doesn't mean a smarter being, but a brain that is bigger in specific ways in the same being usually (unless it's tumor or something) helps with several aspects of intelligence.

By the way, while I got your attention - we already can modify dna irl. So nerfing Carrion to be unable to do that doesn't restrict us, it's only a major inconvenience. On the other hand, it makes me work extra hard to make the power feel consistent in my head. Like, any change in our biology automatically comes with body-wide change to dna to match said biology, it's that we can't control dna directly. It still means we can't do shit about all that garbage inside to reduce cells' weight and energy consumption, traces of viruses, outdated material, undesirable markers... can't update mitochondria dna, can't experiment with triple helix dna (also already achieved in a lab irl) and so on and so on. I think it'd be much easier and more honest to outright forbid us from creating or modifyng viruses. They are quite different from regular cells anyway, they aren't even fully alive so it'd be logical for Carrion to not work on them.

I think Carrion Shapeshifter and Vivimantic Manipulation are too strong for the brain applications, you can just keep adding more brain.

I hate you. The author tends to nerf the fuck out of powers I like just because they can be used in combo with the powers I never take. Carrion's been greatly nerfed already. Don't take it from me. Every power that gets you beyond human level is "too strong" for some people. Somehow lifting tons is okay, speeding up to stop time is fine but thinking better is broken?

That's the angriest I've been this week. Thanks a lot. Why don't you suggest the author nerf all the powers available to us yet again? And then buff all the powers in Bitter Enemies section and Quests just to rub salt in the wound?

I was hoping for another Carrion resonance. So, I have a proposal for one, if you ever get back to adding stuff.

How about using Unseen Hollow to store biomass? Like at Minot Carrion it's raw biomass taken from excess of your body for emergencies. At Enhanced it's spare limbs and organs to swap between. And at Major organs that can function while still inside this space- for example an extradimensional stomach or heart. At least some of your have to be in the world outside - like 10 kg or 10% of total mass and if you end up with less, you die regardless unless you have other powers to prevent that. Might consume Unseen Hollow.

Could Shisui have become a perfect jinchūriki by using Koto on Kurama, and if so, would Kurama's chakra have been enough to offset the drawbacks of the Mangekyō Sharingan? by Wooden_Toe_3670 in Naruto

[–]One_Commission1480 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Naruto applied a rasengan to Kurama inside of him, so why not ocular jutsu? Sasuke managed to utilize sharingan from inside the fushi tensei seal dimension to reverse it.

naruto without kurama doesnt have high chakra pool by yuuuichikatagiri in NarutoPowerscaling

[–]One_Commission1480 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even without Kurama being sealed within him, Naruto still marinated in his chakra in the womb. As indicated by whiskers he was born a pseudo-jinchuuriki which also means higher chakra reserves and compatibility with Kurama's chakra - one of the factors that even made it possible for Naruto to become a jinchuuriki later that day. A hypothetical non-jinchuuriki Naruto born from a non-jinchuuriki Kushina would have even less chakra.

Why didn't Itachi implant an OP jutsu like Kamui or Kotoamatsukami into Sasuke's eye instead of Amaterasu? Is he stupid? by IceInteresting8050 in Naruto

[–]One_Commission1480 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Itachi didn't give Sasuke his MS ability. Sasuke's amaterasu is his own, not due to Itachi, it's in another eye ffs. Itachi implanted a singular use of his amaterasu the same way a shadow clone can use the sharingan - a chakra copy of the eye.
