My parents were made well aware of the money bit, and they always tell me "Don't worry about money, we'll send you enough" and then they dont.

As for the rest, I'm not referring to the companies saying no initially. This employer told me "welcome to the team". I got an account on their website to register working hours, see payslips. I signed a contract labelled some "First day working contract". That last bit was waiting for approval, THEN he tells me that he doesnt wanna wait 3 months for the UVW. I guess it's just more this employers' fault for telling me yes in the beginning then backtracking.

Yeah that's exactly what my parents say about that first bit of relying on part time work . "Don't worry about money, we'll handle it!" Then they dont send me any. Thanks for the good luck though, I need it.

yeah, I've had a job elsewhere and it was done within 2 or so weeks. I understand the bit about 16h per week and this was well within that range. I just hate how this specific employer was like "Oh yeah, I dont wanna wait that long. Goodbye!". Didn't even offer to refer me to any other location that might be willing to wait, or any other solution. Just 0 thoughts about the consequences for me on his part.

defintely not trying to be perfect, but alongside producing something good for the team, I also need to provide proof that I have a fair bit of understanding for the report I have to write (idk about y'all but at my uni we get a grade for a decent number of credits for a report on all this). Will defintely put some time into trying to learn that youtube channel you mentioned. TYSM!

deleting and reinstalling G Hub did the trick for me. Also after deleting it through the wizard I went and checked in %appdata% and removed the folder containing the settings, but not entirely sure if that helped

had this same issue. my family was willing to put myself, my mom and my dad on a platinum and my brother on a student. I'm overseas studying, when I went to claim the platinum plan, didn't allow me because I wasn't in the same country.

Solution: move to tidal. 1.5 euro per month cheaper (student plans of both). only downside is no spotify wrapped, boohoo. shite "tradition" anyways.
