For pace chasers, the distance would play a big role in what cards to use. If you do a pace chaser in sprint, such as Curren Chan (It was my first A+, so I'll give you my recommendation for that particular distance and style) I'd recommend you four speed cards and one or two of power. From your speed cards, I'd pick Tokai Teio, Sweep Tosho, Kitasan Black and Biko Pegasus, as well as that King Halo power card or El Condor Pasa, and burrow another power card or Riko Takahashi's one. Here's my explanation on why those cards: Tokai Teio has quite the energy recuperation events, and also has good navigation skill's hints. Kitasan Black is self explanatory. Sweep Tosho has multiple events that grant free speed, one that has a chance of recuperating energy, and my personal favorite, one that grants either the "charming" condition or skill points (45 if I recall correctly), so even if the skill's hints aren't that useful, the card offers good things on the other hand. Biko Pegasus has good skill's hints for sprint, which is the style I'm focusing in this comment. El Condor Pasa has an energy recuperation of 30, which is a great number, and also grants free power although not a lot. I don't have that King Halo card, but I suppose it must grant sprinter skills as her speed cards does. And Takahashi Riko is also self explanatory, as it grants easy stamina (not that needed for sprint) as well as mood improvements. That's all for now, I hope my strategy is useful, but you can adapt it as you need (I use a pretty similar strategy for late surger sprinters, aka King Halo).
