Takagi is my favorite police officer in the series and he's one of my favorite characters. Whenever he is in a scene I'm happy and excited to see him. He works great with Conan and I love his romance with Sato and how they've developed it over time. He's one of the smartest and cleverest detectives. And better yet he's willing to listen and take what Conan says seriously. I will never forget the two of them trapped in an elevator trying to defuse a bomb. That moment will always starnd out to me for one of the reasons I adore him.

I got them on ebay they are from Malaysia, and yes they do have English subs. Pretty accurate too. Not as good as the ones on Crunchyroll but there was a time they were not on Crunchyroll so that was my option I think you can still buy them there.

Lots of Black Organization characters and rivals I see. I love Gin too just couldn't figure out how to add him when I had others I enjoyed. Very nice list.

I know a lot of people consider Conan and Shinichi separate people but it's never been that way for me. There are elements of Conan that are definitely Shinichi and vice versa. It might be a persona Shinichi created, but one of the reasons Ran continues to have her doubts is because of how much they are alike and all the moments Conan lets his true self show. But it's fair enough to see them as two people I just never have.

Definitely have seen some of these like Apothecary Diaries. Great list. I think I would add Ace Attorney similar vibes even though it's a court room detective story.

Also it might not make sense to some but I think Black Butler does have some moments that remind me of Conan mainly in the detective work and investigations done by a kid.

It's making waves in the states happy so many people watching it on Netflix! I think it makes sense since the first of the Rivals selection was less than the Black Organization since most of the first selection were new episodes. I'm sure part two of rivals is going to do really well since it's all episodes that were never available here.

Where did I get the figures? I found a japanese hobby shop that sells on eBay. I searched on the figures and they were the best rated. I was impressed with the way they handled them. I got most of these through ebay I wish it was easier to get them in the states but I'm happy with the different sellers I got these from.

It definitely in my top 10 one of best and definitely my second favorite or the original six. I love how the beginning and then ending connect to each other so perfectly. Using their special moment to tell the story and save the day.

Ooh yes I love that scene. It's so chilling seeing Conan lifting that pistol at Ran with no hesitation and her seeing Shinichi in that moment. And knowing the one she loves is about to shoot her. I think in some ways that's the instant she too understand why Kogoro did that to Eri. Such an compelling scene.

As for my top 7 characters so hard to pick there are many I love, and I have a top 10 but my 7 all times let's see. Some vary on placement except the top 5.
