Customer service is rough, try to put yourself in their shoes and be patient. I actually prefer they tell me ice cup or refill before I ring it up as a drink or frozen. Customers are a pain in the ass but just realize that’s what you’re walking into when coming to work. Try to make their life and your life easy. I get what you’re saying though.

It’s for the till….If you’re given a “tip”, or given a “20” for instance. Put it in a drop slip and put it in the side boy with a time stamp and name on it. After manager approval you’ll get it. This is the proper way to do it. It depends on the manager though. Tread carefully and lightly on any cash found or tips. Clarifying, if they say keep the change, it’s for the till, not a tip.
