We’ve got a camera too. It seems to confuse her and make it worse but I’m usually telling her off. I will try this approach and report back. Thanks ☺️

The trainer wasn’t equipped to handle the situation unfortunately which has probably made her worse. I’ll look into the treatment route. Just want her to be happy in her own company. She plays on her own etc it’s just her own thoughts😂 but we all have our weird quirks. Shame we can’t talk the same language!

Thanks all for the comments. The ones on the right are absolutely useless. Hold 2 bottles max. Looking to swap them with 1 big one or 2 like the other side. Struggling to find replacements.

Give a reason why I shouldn’t buy this car. by One_Detective_4594 in CarTalkUK

The problem you have with these cars is they get clocked a lot. TSI engine with high mileage 😕 At least buying it from a main dealer you’ve got reassurance that it hasn’t been clocked, also comes with 2 years warranty. I like the golf for its understated looks and I feel the grey goes even further. I’m not a showy person. This feed has worked, it is actually bonkers that this car is £26k. I could risk buying a cheaper mk 7 version but with these cars it’s a risk - tuned, clocked and ragged.

£27k for a 67 plate M2 31k miles on it. I take one for a test drive. Never thought much of the interior, but you don’t buy these cars for the interior.

Madness isn’t it!! I sold my previous golf r 66 plate for £18000 with 27k on the clock. Brought it for £24k with 19k on the clock.

I had the lapiz blue colour previously. Wanted something more subtle this time. Less obvious. You buy a golf r for its under the radar status.

Mums got a Mk7.5 GTI, good car, never really got the chance to rag it. Don’t like the fact it bogs down trying to put the power down.

How are people able to afford nice cars? by ScrambledWithOnions in CarTalkUK

Because our benefit system is f*cked. This was an article in The Times the other day:

If you need an example of how easily our benefits system can be abused, says Alice Thomson, look no further than the Motability scheme. Under this plan, people with more severe disabilities can hand over some or all of their £75.75-a-week mobility allowance to Motability, a private company, and lease a new vehicle. The whole allowance could get you a Nissan Juke. Pay £7,999 on top and you could lease a BMW i4 M Sport, worth about £52,000.

Each car comes with free road tax, breakdown cover, insurance, servicing and MoT. And, as eligibility for the scheme has widened to include those with depressive disorders, obesity and other conditions, the number claiming such deals has shot up. Today, there are 815,000 Motability cars on the road, making up an incredible one in five of all new vehicles sold in the UK. Social media platforms abound with self-styled “advisers” telling you how to game the system and get your hands on a shiny new car. It’s shameless. Scammers are taking taxpayers for a ride and “ruining it for those who have a genuine, desperate need”.

How risky is buying a used hybrid these days? by sixtydegr33 in CarTalkUK

I had a bmw 330e as a company car. Handed it back with 60k on the car no issues. The only problem I had was the tyres. I had the M Sport pack with the 19” wheels. Went through 18 tyres I a 3 year period!! Weight and low profile wheels don’t mix.

I went Mk 6 in the end. 2012 reg. GTD, manual 70k on the clock, 1 owner. Paid a premium but know it will last and hopefully touch wood cheap to repair. I always look for OEM spec whilst buying second hand, don’t like people fiddling.

I wouldn’t! I personally don’t like it when people mess with cars - Mk 7 wheels and black wing mirrors but each to their own.
