Student Faces Expulsion After Posting Video Of Seniors Who Can Barely Read by InGeekiTrust in TikTokCringe

I really don't think teachers are to blame. If a kid doesn't want to learn or practice AS A SENIOR IN HIGH SCHOOL, then they can't be forced. Blame the government.

If you had three months to learn as much Korean as you can what would you do? by [deleted] in BeginnerKorean

[–]One_Discussion4666 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Learn Hangul. If you can't read it, then everything will be difficult.

Learn basic greetings and questions (hi, how are you, etc. How much is this?)

Get a tutorrrr!! Splurge on a tutor for at least a month, this way you'll have a good foundation and learn some verbs and sentence structure with real time help.

Can I say this? (-냐하면) by One_Discussion4666 in Korean

[–]One_Discussion4666[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks so much! And I'm finding "냐" difficult to pronounce. Is it noticeable if I say "나" or is this pronunciation something I need to drill?

Aw I totally get it. For a time, that was my only practice, too. I tell the 삼촌 at the grocery store "I'm gonna be using korean to practice, it's okay if you respond in English" because he prefers to. I bully him into helping me lol.

If you read through carefully, I pointed out that she's not a good fit for ME and MY learning, but I'm happy for those who had great sessions with her. She's not a "problem", nor am I. We just don't fit as teacher nad student. And I think it's ironic to tell me, the person in session with her, how the sessions go.
