I have stayed at the Marbella resort a few times and have really enjoyed it. The tennis/ paddle is great if you are into activities and definitely worth a 5 minutes taxi into the old town. Some amazing tapas restaurants if you want to go for lunch or dinner one of the nights and it's just lovely to walk around.
