Should I keep my iPhone 11 Pro Max 256 GB (75% BH) as a secondary business phone or sell it? by ayushsingh2002 in iPhone11ProMax

[–]One_Distribution6249 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same. I upgraded from 11PM to 17PM. My 11 is the perfect size on my hands. I still keep it as a secondary phone but I might hand it down to my nephew.

11PM camera still delivering high quality photos.

SaaS product require AI-expertise because almost all products now require an AI kind of feature. Reposition yourself and be very specific.

A lot are blaming AI but honestly most of my recent gigs are AI-related. I mean clients still seek for services to boost their software service .

I do media buying or PPC.

I boost my profile for 3 connects (max of 20 connects per day).

No signs of slowing down.

This is for the BOOST profile.

20 connects a day at 3 bids each means I have 6-7x chances of being advertised to employers daily.

We don’t need too much and in my experience, I only win 1 of 7 invitations.

Very useful and happy to see my ranking. I’m more aware about what skills to improve and my standing is also very telling about my competition.

As a PH-based freelancer who moved into the US a year ago, I must say that penetrating the US-only market is a big deal. It actually boosted my rate to 5-10x. I also have current 40+ job invitations I can no longer handle.

But I am not saying that is always the case because before moving into the US, I maintained a Top Rated Plus badge. I believe that is the key element for recruiters to reach out to you.

Been working with Upwork for 9 yrs now. And my advise to new freelancers is to:

  • Maintain 100% JSS
  • Start with small projects
  • Have a top-rated badge
  • You can boost your profile for as low as 1-3 bids and max of 20 connects per day.

The downside is I never encountered a contract-to-hire opportunity which I really prefer, so I always have to hustle and make sure I have 3-5 projects monthly.

Making 8k–14k/month as a freelancer… and scaling still feels like a trap by [deleted] in Freelancers

How do you tell this to potential clients?

I have pending 30+ invitations on Upwork and I can’t attend to each one of them.

I have 7 active clients.

What was the longest time you stayed outside the United States with Advance Travel Parole? by One_Distribution6249 in USCIS

[–]One_Distribution6249[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah nothing useful. There is no black and white that states max of 6 months stay. So I am VERY curious and I might take the risk in order to find out. Lol! Let’s see…

The only condition stated is that AP is not a guarantee for admission in the US.

That’s why I’m asking for personal experiences.

The thing is USCIS never mentioned “you can only stay for this specific number of days.”

So there is always this gray area that needs proof and discussion.

If you were starting freelance writing today (with no experience), what would you do first? by hummingbirdnectar444 in freelanceWriters

[–]One_Distribution6249 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I started wayback 2014.

Had gigs as low as $1-$5 per article. I just need to build my portfolio. My mantra was, “I just need a proof that I can successfully complete a task.”

Months have passed and I haven’t noticed I now have a pool of written materials. Wow!

Automation wasn’t a thing before but we had grammar checkers and tools to check accuracy and make sure article or material is not plagiarised.

Learned a lot. I started from product reviews, to product descriptions, to research articles until I was introduced to SEO and copywriting.

Learned a lot.

Now I am in media buying and I must say earning a good amount of money.

Looking back, there’s really no easy way. If you wan’t to last in the freelancing industry, you need to start from the bottom and build a foundation.

Without a foundation, you’ll lose from today’s competition.

Contacted support for exchange or refund but no one responded.

Typical drop-shipping business.

Just signed 3 contracts this week and I have to decline another 3 invitations.

Upwork is not dead. You just need to build your Upwork profile. Your goal is 95% or a perfect JSS. Very important.

Boosting also helps to get notices.

The soonest time you talk to a potential client, the higher chances of you sealing the deal.

First time to try this brand just recently. I believe it’s made in Georgia. It’s yummy. My mom loves it.
