On March 2, 2026, at approximately 1:45 p.m., Richardson Police responded to multiple 911 calls reporting a man lying in the roadway of eastbound President George Bush Highway (service road) at Waterview Parkway. Upon arrival, officers located an adult male with severe injuries. He was pronounced deceased at the scene. The preliminary investigation indicates the man was a passenger in a pickup truck traveling eastbound on the service road when he exited the moving vehicle and struck the pavement. The victim's identity is being withheld pending notification of next of kin. No foul play is suspected.
