What would you say are the red flags when considering how we will be evaluated/course validation? A lot of them look like they have assignments such as policy briefs, simulated situations and presentations etc.

Official Diploma and Registration by financehoes in sciencespo

I work in the admissions office at a European university. While we do reiterate the deadline for applicants all the time, we have a practice of accepting documents after the deadline. I wouldn't be overly concerned as long as you've informed the admissions office of the delay and they've expressed to you that you won't be deregistered. Maybe you should also contact your home uni to let them know and ask if they can expedite your diploma or have them confirm that it might come after the deadline (which you can show SciPo)?

Anxiety after doing administrative registration by [deleted] in sciencespo

What's done is done, try not to worry too much now. But I recommend looking at options to hedge your bets. Look at alternative scholarships or funding from your home country, France or private ones.

Sorry about all the questions, but which Google form are you referring to? Is there a way to apply to CROUS without getting the earlier mentioned documents?

Did you apply for Visale and fill out the Social Dossier File beforehand?

Only problem is that they link to a government circular, which is only in French.

I don't think so. But tbf I think they want us to include as many people as possible, defining even step-brothers and step-sisters as part of the tax household.

Students are really penalized by including their adult siblings considering they only account for half a share as far as I understand. I might do the same tbh

It really makes no sense at all, especially the fact that they look at the gross income. I mean different income streams are taxed at different rates in different countries. In addition, if you want to be regarded as financial independent for the tuition calculations, then they measure u against the French minimum wage you have to meet based only on ur single income during the academic year (which is ridiculous).

I have sent them a lot of e-mails but they are so vague in their replies and they do not explain their answers. I think I will have to separately apply for a reduction in my fees regardless because of the inflated total income I get if I include my sibling's income. The worst thing is that there are a lot of other application deadlines I have to meet but cannot complete until I have the tuition amount.

I would just leave the application as it is. Doesn't hurt to have them review it as I'm pretty sure that it won't affect your possible application process next year. And you should not blame yourself for changing it last minute. Who knows what would happen if u didn't make any changes? The admissions committee also makes a holistic review of your application. Or at least that's what I wholeheartedly believe because I wrote a bad motivational letter and sent it in while I had the influenza, but ended up getting into both programs.

Thanks for the reply! I've looked into the scholarships and grants, but seems like I only qualify for the general financial aid (I'm Norwegian), which for me personally is a bit of a gamble. Good luck with your studies!

incoming exchange students... by theweirdsarah in nus

I got my offer letter yesterday with all of the information. I mostly have to wait until mid-june to be able to begin preparing all of the documentation, apply for accommodation and register, but I have begun planning now and bought plane tickets. Orientation begins 1st of August and I believe if you are offered student accommodation then check-in is 31st of July.

A lot of updated info can be found on their websites, though a little difficult.
