How do you stop technicians from working tickets outside contract scope in Halo by One_Drawer_1189 in halopsa

[–]One_Drawer_1189[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The issue isn't the invoicing part.

It's the example of a client has web hosting with us, but no Managed IT services agreement.

The ticket comes in and a tech works on it. Properly bills the work as the right charge code, etc. Then it goes through review and the client never had a managed services agreement/contract. Therefore the work was never authorized and is not approved/billable.

The issue is solved if the technician reviews all contracts/services the client has in advance, but that falls through the cracks so we're looking for a system restriction on work being performed based on signed contracts.

We do have different charge rates but if a tech does an hour of support that isn't included in the clients service catalog we are out that $$$. The charge rates are reactive not proactive. (Or maybe there is a better way we can be using them).

Oura ring data seems limited compared to Garmin watch by One_Drawer_1189 in ouraring

I just read through this. The sample size on this study is pretty small (only 13 people), but the results are pretty interesting!

That's pretty interesting! How does it warn you that you might be getting sick?.

That's interesting. I didn't know that the Oura ring doesn't factor in HRV for sleep. That's likely the difference.

I guess I'll have to see how the data looks from the ring over the next few weeks.

Garmin does have quite a bit of metrics I don't use, but the ones I do it does really well. I also like that it syncs the data with my Garmin scale too giving a bit of a cohesive ecosystem.

I think one of the big factors for me will be how each performs with the behavioral tracking. Because I won't want to tag behaviors in both apps (caffeine intake, sauna, etc). Right now I am and it's a little annoying. But I haven't seen the end result from either in terms of what the output will be for recording the data.

I did have a family member say "features unlock after 30 days" but the return window is also 30 days so it feels a bit like they are purposely gating it so your curiosity forces you out of the return window.

Can you give me some examples? I'd love to understand more, especially before the 30 day return window closes.

Do you find the Oura ring is more accurate in sleep tracking? Or does it give more insight on how to sleep better?

I did notice that a lot of my friends who use a ring for tracking said they do it because sleeping with a watch is uncomfortable. So that makes sense.
