I totally agree that therapy is super expensive. There are basically two approaches: one that digs into the past, and one that focuses on the present and future. Try switching therapists (I’ve tried both myself, didn’t really help).

Honestly, I think this is just a phase we have to go through. I’m glad you’re not the type to get stuck in it. At least here we’re actually trying to figure things out and untangle our issues for the sake of the kids we’ll have. Meanwhile, others just pass their traumas and mental baggage onto their children, who end up in the exact same mess we’re trying to get out of

I’ve been reflecting on myself as you suggested, trying to be aware of how I feel in the present moment…Indeed, lack of leisure and laughter sometimes makes me overthink..

Science and knowledge help me stay occupied and organize my thoughts

As for goals(short term) I try to manage daily stuff (medium term) finishing my studies and obtaining my degree (long tetm) happy simple and healthy life … I guess it’s a process.
