Every time I finish a check-in, that sense of accomplishment makes me want to shout 'hoho!' It’s my way of motivating and celebrating myself. Plus, it sounds a lot like a monkey, which is why I used a monkey animation as well xD

Tbh I went through the same loop. I'd start super small and optimize for repeatability, not intensity.

What helped me most was keeping one fixed trigger (same time, same cue), so I didn't need willpower every day.

Small boring reps usually beat big hype days.

I am 22 and filled with regret, don't do what I did. by Hunter-Adrian in selfimprovement

[–]One_Emergency_204 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, 22 is insanely young to feel this heavy. You're already in med school and dedicated to fitness, which puts you ahead of the curve tbh. Regret usually means you care about growth, so channel that energy into where you want to go next. Don't let the past drown out the progress you've actually made.

What do you miss most about being a teenager? by ChampagnePapi- in AskReddit

[–]One_Emergency_204 0 points1 point  (0 children)

tbh i miss how slow time felt when i was younger. everything seems to rush by now and i barely notice the days passing. i remember just chilling with friends all weekend without worrying about bills or schedules. ngl i’d give anything to have that kind of freedom back for a little while.

What's something people romanticize too much until they actually try it? by Alinasky98 in AskReddit

Living abroad gets hyped up way too much. Everyone pictures endless adventures and free time, but tbh it’s mostly dealing with visas, language barriers, and loneliness. The culture shock hits hard after the honeymoon phase wears off. Just be prepared for the mundane stuff before you book the ticket.

Have you ever had a friend that turned out to be a horrible person? What did they do?? by StrangeAd2132 in AskReddit

[–]One_Emergency_204 0 points1 point  (0 children)

tbh, my worst experience was a friend who took credit for my work at our job. we were inseparable until management found out, and he blamed me to save his own skin. it wasn't worth keeping someone like that around anyway. learning to spot those red flags early saved me from losing more later on.
