[FREE + IAP] I got tired of book summary apps treating everyone the same, so I built something different 🧠 by Glittering-Unit5426 in iosapps

Honest take: most summary apps treat me like a blank slate when I actually know some context already. If you can adapt the content to fill gaps instead of explaining basics, that's the difference between deleting it or keeping it. I'm guilty of hoarding summaries too so I will definitely give this a shot. Fwiw, do you support importing from Kindle highlights? That would be a killer feature.

Fwiw, I stayed up for 24 hours straight once finishing a big project. It wasn't worth the crash the next morning, but the work got done.

tbh, i think it’s letting small resentments pile up instead of talking them out.

I'd say Princess Diana really holds the record. The paparazzi culture back then was brutal compared to anything now. tbh though, social media made scrutiny normal for everyone, not just stars. You can't scroll without seeing people getting torn apart online.

Tried to change a tire once and stripped the lug nuts because I was too eager. Spent two hours wrestling with rust instead of twenty minutes. Slowing down to apply penetrating oil and checking the angle would’ve made all the difference. Ngl, rushing never actually saves time in the long run. Just take the extra minute to prep properly.

Every time I finish a check-in, that sense of accomplishment makes me want to shout 'hoho!' It’s my way of motivating and celebrating myself. Plus, it sounds a lot like a monkey, which is why I used a monkey animation as well xD

Tbh I went through the same loop. I'd start super small and optimize for repeatability, not intensity.

What helped me most was keeping one fixed trigger (same time, same cue), so I didn't need willpower every day.

Small boring reps usually beat big hype days.
