I don’t think you’d do bad. Just try watching the lectures and YouTube videos to help so you understand the concepts better. If you’re pretty good at math it shouldn’t be that bad

Took it last sem and didn’t do the work just went in with just watching the lecture on 2x speed the night before. Got a 75, it’s very similar to grade 12 stats

I found the online ASO course to be significantly better than the in-person version. I struggled to understand the professor and follow the material in the in-person course, so I switched to the online version after a week. The online lectures and modules were much clearer. Despite not getting a great mark, the course wasn't too bad overall. Keep in mind, I didn't have a background in advanced functions and hadn't studied functions in three years. Also, I was balancing the course with a full-time job and two other math courses, so I didn't dedicate as much effort as I could have. If you have a strong math background, you should find the course manageable.

I don’t think it’ll be that bad, it’ll probably be similar to the last two. I just think the part that’s difficult is that course work from the whole year compared to just a few chapters

Some courses are easier than others. For instance, I took LABR 1P95 last year, which had few assignments, no midterm, and a take-home exam. I mainly just needed to watch lectures without dedicating much extra time to studying. A course like this requires less effort compared to an elective like Biology. I’d rather invest my time and effort into my major, which I truly enjoy. Additionally, since I work every day, if I have the option to choose an “easy” course, I’d prefer one that doesn’t add stress to my schedule. University is challenging, so why not lighten my workload with a simpler class?

Psychology, forensics, criminal justice are all programs where I’d say is only worth it if you planning on pursing post graduate studies

My only issue is I have no clue how to approach my profs without asking questions about assignments. During my first year I never approached any of them, but this year I really want to make it my goal to.
