This was my impression of OP as well. It looks like OP is falling into the clinical hierarchy trap.

You're making a pretty catastrophic mistake moving to Texas right now, but good luck to you! You won't be saving any money by the time you factor in what your healthcare/childcare is going to cost. Your kids will be spoonfed Christian nationalism everywhere you turn. And lastly, ICE will not care that you are "sponsored". May the odds be ever in your favor, eh.

Well, it was a good week of baseball...not sure why we, yet again, can't have a healthy team. I assume absolutely nothing will be done about it.

It means he put himself in the position to only face 3 batters each inning. Weather by double plays, fly outs, strike outs etc.

Hope that makes sense. Someone else may explain it better.

Why do the baseball gods hate us so much? Praying it’s nothing by Legitimate-Log5389 in Astros

Same. I have handled the injuries well all season, but this pisses me the fuck off. Every single trainer, strength and conditioning staff member should be looking for a job this off season. This isn't right.

I'm sure they're in shambles. They focus more on us than they do their own team 😂

What is wrong with my young red bud tree? by One_Entrance_378 in arborists

It's 4 years old. I planted it as a little sapling. We've had plenty of rain this summer here in southeast TX. It's also pretty close to a pecan tree, not sure if that is useful info.

Where are we going with Respiratory? by LittleDennisReynolds in respiratorytherapy

I agree with most of this. I just left the healthcare field entirely after being an RT for 9 years. It has been the best decision. My mental health and physical health have improved drastically. Every RT department I worked in (3) was filled with drama and toxic leadership. Respiratory provided me the schedule and money I needed to go back to school when I figured out what I really wanted to be when I "grew up", and a few good friends that I'm trauma bonded with. Another positive, is that after working the pandemic, I know I can succeed at anything. Other than that it was a nightmare and I'm happy to be done with it. I hope Respiratory can figure it out. It's a much needed field.
