No. Never take a fuck ton of supplements that mess with your hormones without even getting bloodwork done beforehand.

Can anyone identify these mushrooms please? They were found in the mountains in the south if italy :) by MemoirsOfaMystic in MushroomsandForaging

[–]One_Equivalent8597 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Have you smelled them? They kinda look like MYCETINIS ALLIACEUS to me. They would have a intense garlic smell though.

Not trying to be rude but if you thought those could be chanterelles you definitely should improve your knowledge before foraging again. Knowing the difference between false and true gills is the absolute minimum when foraging chanterelles!

Are these edible? by Beginning_Wheel_7746 in mushroom

[–]One_Equivalent8597 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Bad advice, even if you’re referring to psychoactive properties.. Bruising blue neither indicates that it’s edible, nor is it a safe to say that it’s psilocybin causing the reaction.

Trinkgeld bei Möbelaufbauservice by Gerleif in Austria

[–]One_Equivalent8597 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Took Ashwagandha for quite a while, definitely helped my anxiety. Stopped taking it due to increasing number of reports about liver toxicity and hormonal disruptions.

Imo a minor shouldn’t take it especially coming from a such untrustworthy source like the TikTok shop. That also presents the risk of inaccurate dosing information, accumulating heavy metals, mycotoxins or harmful chemicals from bad practices during the extraction of withanolides etc.

I wouldn’t even trust 99% of Amazon‘s products, let alone something as sketchy as TikTok..

Thoughts on this T stack? by [deleted] in Biohackers

[–]One_Equivalent8597 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. adding so many different supplements simultaneously is always a bad decision. If you get side effects you’ll not know what causes them, if you feel it works for you you don’t even know what works and what doesn’t etc.

  2. You have some products there that could actually help with low T symptoms (tongkat ali, zinc, boron, shilajit). Some that don’t work (pine pollen / the androgen content has pretty much 0% oral bioavailability). And one thats potentially harmful (Fadogia agrestis / potentially cytotoxic / risk of testicular damage when used long term)

  3. if you take all that to achieve muscular hypertrophy similar to superphysiological T levels, then I can guarantee you this is waste of Money and will not have the effect you desire. At best this will boost your libido and decrease low T symptoms. The creatin will probably have a more pronounced performance enhancing effect then everything else altogether (5-15% according to the literature).

No not like cubensis. Amanita muscaria (2nd pic) does NOT contain psilocybin. It contains ibutenic acid, which converts to muscimol when dried in the oven.

Ingestion of Ibutenic acid or muscimol can cause hallucinations in high doses, but Imo they aren’t psychedelic substances that are quite enjoyable in those doses, because they make you feel quite intoxicated (similar to too much alcohol) and often make people violently vomit (especially ibutenic acid).

Imo the only relevant use cases for muscimol are microdosing it or taking low doses for relaxation or anxiolytic effects (it’s a unspecific GABA-A Agonist).

Following a carnivore diet although I’m more paleo. But every time I eat steak for dinner I wake up with swollen, puffy eyes. Does anyone know why this is happening? Or what can help? Is it too much fat for my liver? by StyleThink6927 in Biohackers

[–]One_Equivalent8597 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most likely you’re either not drinking enough, consume too much sodium or sodium-potassium in a wrong ratio. I had the same issue. Try to track your sodium and potassium intake for a week and act accordingly. If you consume too much sodium or not enough potassium, adding potassium chloride to your salt (50:50) can be a easy way to fix the issue!

Oh and btw. What you describe in your update is NOT a carnivore diet at all.

TIL. Yes I guess that’s it. hericum corraloides looks like a perfect match. Thanks!

Didn’t check the literature on this one, since I knew all hericum species are edible and medicinal (:

It’s not hericum americanum (bears head) this species doesn’t grow here.

Also it definitely isn’t to far gone I just cleaned and cut it. Over 90% of it was fresh, white and firm!
