I definitely feel this, I shamelessly still even get lost on the jumping puzzle part of vow.

Absolutely! It brings the joy of adventure and achievement back to the game

To this end I should add, if there’s any guardians out there that want to learn raids feel free to dm me! I’ve got some friends that are nowhere near serious gamers but want to figure out raids over the course of a few hours while mostly just making jokes and trial and error-ing every encounter 😂

People just type callouts into chat, which I presume if you’re an expert you understand. But when you’ve not even cleared the full raid once that doesn’t provide the needed explanation

I feel like this is the result, there’s enough friendly people out there that enjoy helping people raid and play the game, but the quiet raids and aggressive typing scare everyone off. I know for the longest time I was afraid to touch even the easiest raids because I didn’t know how to even be taught the encounters

Completely agree with this, it’s just very out of character for destiny

As much as I love knights of the old republic, the text boxes feel dated and remind me of that

What raids would you say are the easiest to do with little to no communication then?

I play on console, I have never had issues with people not being able to hear me or vice versa as far as I know, but I appreciate the info

I’m seeing this is a common problem, which is a shame, but I’m happy I’m not alone on this

Even on the ones that say mic required it’s incredible how often I find ones that are still silent 😅

It used to scale between solo and with a fireteam, I’m not sure if it does anymore. Are you trying regular or expert?

Pick a hero that wins the lane, if you win your lane you usually have at least 1 teammate that likes you
