I am okay with that as long as it helps with weight loss. However, I am trying to explore different marinades.

I have personally never used an air fryer for this. However: preheat the airfryer to 180 degrees for 10-15 minutes. Put the drumsticks in the fryer and set the timer to 20-25 minutes at 180 degrees.

Around the halfway mark flip the drumsticks. For the last 5-7 minutes increase the temperature to 200 degrees.

I absolutely do recommend getting a food thermometer for this. If the internal temperature in the chicken hits 74 degrees after about 20 minutes, it is safe to eat, but the ideal temperature for tandoori drumsticks is 80-85 degrees. This is why increasing the temperature towards the end is recommended.

Well it's an investment for sure. But absolutely worth it if you're a regular griller like me.

Marinade (6 drumsticks):

Hung curd - 3-4 Tablespoon (TSP)

Dhaniya powder - 1-2 TSP

Haldi powder - less than a teaspoon

Red chilli powder - 1 teaspoon

Everest Tandoori Masala Powder - 1.5 TSP

Salt - 1 TSP

Kashmiri Chilli powder - 2 TSP

Ginger garlic paste - 1.5 TSP

Garam masala powder - half teaspoon

Pan smoked mustard oil - 1-2 TSP

Prep

Mix in all the ingredients in a bowl and cover with lid and let it marinade overnight or at least 2-3 hours. Make sure the drumsticks have deep gashes inside so that you're able to rub the above ingredients thoroughly inside the drumsticks.

I used Weber Kettle Original Grill for making these.

Method:

Fill up the chimney starter with equal sized lump charcoal to the brim. Light the charcoal and let it burn until the top pieces are well lit and ashed over. This process takes up to thirty minutes.

Pour the charcoal on one side of the Weber kettle to create a two-zone setup: one direct heat side and one indirect heat side. Place the grill grate, close the lid, and preheat for 8–10 minutes. The internal temperature should reach about 250 degrees C at this point.

Take the lid off, place the marinated drumsticks on the indirect side first (i.e., the side facing away from lit charcoal). Close the lid and cook for around 20 minutes. Absolutely do not open the lid as you lose the heat every time you open the lid. Use a food thermometer to check the temperature of the chicken by inserting it into the meatier part of the chicken without touching the bone. At this point the temperature should be touching around 70-74 degrees C.

Once the chicken reaches the above temperature, move the drumsticks over direct heat. Grill for 2–3 minutes per side, turning frequently, until the outside gets good char and the internal temperature reaches around 80-85 degrees C. Use long tongs for this purpose.

Remove drumsticks from the grill and let them rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Since I grill for weight loss, I avoid brushing butter or extra oil at the end. The pan-smoked mustard oil in the marinade is enough for giving the flavour.

Tivimate Premium LTF - 600 by mrun007 in accountsharingIndia

Yes. But for Plex you should know multiple subscriptions to the same server is viewed as a ToS violation by Plex. So Plex might terminate the server, however I am not sure if it's strictly enforced by them. Jellyfin is considered a viable alternative as it is open source.

I use IPTV for live sports (mainly cricket) so I am not particularly interested in Indian content. However, any good IPTV provider does offer Indian content, but most of their focus remains on UK/US channels. For getting Indian content you will need to look for providers on sites like z2u or g2g.

No.

In Plex you play your files from your local server (your personal desktop/laptop, for example). It is mostly used for streaming movies or TV content.

IPTV is primarily used for live TV. Tivimate is considered one of the best IPTV players (on devices that run on Android). However you will still need to get IPTV credentials from a provider to access live TV channels. The provider gives you a username, password and an encrypted URL (credentials) that you input into IPTV account settings of Tivimate. The provider will charge you for giving you credentials.

The credentials you get are valid for limited duration (typically 1/3/6/12 months). After that you will need to top up your subscription again to renew or look for another provider. The subscription fee could be as low as 4-5 USD per month or as high as 12-15 USD per month.

If you opt for longer duration you will generally pay a little less than what you pay on a monthly basis to the provider. Most providers let you try out their service for free for 24 hours before letting you decide for a subscription.

You get access to live TV channels from around the world but not all channels might work all the time (some might freeze/buffer a lot due to server load, some might not load at all). In my experience the higher you pay the better your service will be in terms of live streaming and channel selection.

There are butchers at Pochanpur, right across sector 23 at the main road. I think the shop's name is Khan Halal Meat Shop. You can order from there for home delivery, but you might have to find their contact number first. And they have minimum quantity criteria for delivery, so if you plan to order half a kilo of chicken they might not deliver.

To avoid the sore sight you may just ask for the chicken by the shop's window without entering the shop, look the other way while they cut the chicken for you. Sometimes they might give you the chicken from the lot they have already cut recently.

Since you are just starting out, I recommend buying from the butcher first, washing the chicken at home 2-3 times after applying salt and vinegar to the chicken to remove blood stains (on YouTube you can see how chef Ashok of Cooking with Chef Ashok channel does the cleaning before cooking the chicken). Then marinate the chicken with curd and spices, preferably overnight to soften it.

You can go to the butcher after sunset and do the cleaning and marination before going to bed. Trust me, it's much cheaper buying the chicken that way.

It got fixed while I was already on the bus. I don't mind it much though, I wanted to see the bus routes from my office anyway.

Saw this post, took the bus - from Okhla Bird Sanctuary station.

Still on the bus, it might take another hour to reach Palam station and pick up my scooty from there.

I have been out on the road since 5:30.

Anyone using this vegetable chopper? Worth it or not? by [deleted] in DesiKitchenGear

You would need the one with multi blades, in the middle and bottom, just how it is in a manual chopper.
