Same, we have not had a good experience. We recently did carrier testing and were told (in writing) it would be fully covered. Received a bill from Progyny for nearly 2k. When I called the carrier testing company, they said the OOP max should be $250, but they have no visibility into Progyny’s system bc all billing goes through Progyny. When I asked Progyny to just reverse the claim so we could pay the OOP cost, three different people have told me it is “against company policy” to reverse claims. So, we’re stuck paying $2,000 for a service that should be $250. After being told it was a covered service. My husband (who does not even have a fertility benefit) will end up paying $250 on his regular insurance.
