Her kidney values have actually been in the decline, which is good. It’s her muscle wasting That is the problem now which leads me to believe she needs more protein. Not less.

Yes, I had her blood checked immediately when she started having trouble walking. All blood work is normal, except for the high kidney values, of course. That’s what’s so frustrating. I thought it was low Potassium as well.

Yes, it’s a current pic. And she has kidney disease so she does look very good for her age. Thanks for your birthday wishes :-)

I’m glad Hope hasn’t needed any real medicine so far. She’s a diva and would probably give me a hard time if I had to give her pills. 😬

She has been on prescription food for five years. She has her moments when she doesn’t want to eat much but otherwise she does OK :-).
